Quote: I would ask this question to you (and to anyone who's fond of calling people niggers, niggas, or whatever): why do you feel the need to use it? Why?I hate to take this thread off on another tangent, but I'm curious to hear your (and other's) responses. The only acceptable use of that word by anyone is as a blatant display of ignorance and stupidity.. IMHO.

An Obama Presidency would be a disaster!!
-
From reading his other posts, that wouldn't surprise me

Once again, you continue to prove that you are in no way, shape or form past your years, just a complete idiot.Learn how to say what you mean. All you said before was that you want to get rid of all guns. You were told that was a very dumb idea and why, but you get mad at them for pointing out the stupidity in your post about gun control, which was talking about a ban on all guns. Then you talk about an AK 47 for killing a deer. Learn to read; not once did the poster mention an AK 47. "You can go own most streets in major cities and buy a gun."Bull fucking shit. You cannot do that legally. If what they are already doing is illegal, do you think making it even more illegal will stop them?Have you ever heard of shooting targets or skeet? There's an olympic sport with guns in it, showing that guns are big enough in sports that they should be kept. All I know is that I'm glad you won't vote.

shhhh >.>; Don't give him any ideas.

this comment isn't directed solely at you Abi, but this is friggin sweet, all the points i have wanted to make have already been made!Abi that was a great post and I'm glad to have read it, its sickening that some people think that just because they arent white or they've been a victim of racism that its impossible for THEM to be a racist or that its alright for them to be and im glad theres people like you and CBWand Cider thank you for further arguing my point

Too much to respond to, and yet so little time! Quote:and all in all your opinion wasnt needed... A and B are talking, See your way out, notice how it says Re: Grvtykllr not virtual_starPublic forum, sorry. You and other posters are just going have to learn to love me. Quote:because her marriage hit one heck of a bump, does not justifie her for being unqualified, she didnt do SHIT to bill clinton, maybe a slap on the wrist, which means she doesnt have self respect for herself, if u caught ur husband getting head in your home, while ur there, im shure there'd be hell to pay... correct me if im wroung...But you see, her personal life has nothing to do with her political one. That's her business as well as her husband's. Why should we (the public) say anything or even judge what happened? People cheat on their spouses all the time. Sure, Bill was wrong but that didn't make him or her any less qualified for their job. Quote:i didnt say that barack obama was a terroist, i just dont trust him,Because he's a politician, or...? And you may have not directly called him a terroist, but you were implicating it by using the "B to S" switch. Quote:you call me a racist? i've been ridiculed my whole life for being cuban n black and having light skin, ive been jumped, beaten, abused and hassled since 5th grade! Quote: hear my nigga, and i take it as a general reference to people, a man, a person,So, for someone who's been beaten and ridiculed, you'll used that word? Interesting. Sure, you have freedom of speech and can say whatever the hell you want. But you can't cry about being targeted because of your race and then turn around to use racially derogatory words.ADDED:Listen, I honestly wasn't trying to piss you off or harrass you. And I'm pretty sure what I said isn't going to change you mind, which is fine. I'm not here to change your thoughts. I just wanted to point out some things, that's all. Perhaps I was going a bit far with call you a racist. But I took it that way because of how you worded your words.

Quote:I hate to take this thread off on another tangent, but I'm curious to hear your (and other's) responses. My obvious opinion is that there is no acceptable use for that word and whomever thinks it's ok to use it in any way, shape or form deserves to be bitch slapped.Grownpastmyyears- I'm gonna back up everyone else on here and tell you, in my opinion your arguments hold no weight whatsoever. Grow up and do some research. Personally I think that if you choose to argue with points like that then you don't deserve to have an opinion. Do the entire country a favor and stay away from politics. Abi- I love you lol. You took the words right out of my mouth there. You go girl!
-
Holy cow! All I gotta say is, you go girl! Lol! Abi is hot and on fire! Quote:Seriously, tell me what the heck do you consider a "black name" because I really want to know. Should his name be Quameel? How about Treshawn? Is that what you consider a "black name"? Bullcrap. I'm black and I have a Jewish name. Get out of here with that mess. I know, that name thing bugged me. I'm fully Mexican but I have an Old English name. Does that make me untrustworthy?Well, maybe since I'm more American than Mexican anyway, lol.
-
Could I please urge that people criticise arguments rather than personalities. Calling people names doesn't lead to a civilised debate, and doesn't get the issues examined.
-
is it because I called him a cretin? I'm sorry. I was kinda pissed
-
I'll be careful of what I say but in all honesty I stand by what I said in that post.
-
Saying you distrust Obama because:a) He doesnt have a 'black sounding' name, orb) His name is one letter away from 'Osama'.. is racist. I dont care what ethnicity you are. You can be black, mexican, arab, or a freakin' Martian. Announcing your distrust of someone because of factors that involve their ethnicity IS RACIST. Grown, you may not yourself be a racist person, but the statements you made were racist. That's what got everyone here offended. If you're going to make statements like that, as well as some of the sexist ones I've seen you make, just.. prepare for backlash.
-
Might I ask why you replied to leelee89? I didn't see much of anything in there criticizing personalities aside from the "grow up" comment I suppose, but people before have said far worse so I am curious.

People cheat on their spouses all the time. Sure, Bill was wrong but that didn't make him or her any less qualified for their job. Umm.. I have to disagree here.Personal lives do affect political ones. I believe morals and character should apply to EVERYONE. (note.. I'm picking my words carefully to avoid religious debate.)When I say morals.. I mean.. come on if a man decides to be gay that is HIS business. If we have a president who decides he likes masturbaiting in his own feces.. hey has long as he cleans up after himself and uses a lot of soap to make sure he isn't spreading germs that his business.. A good candidate is a good candidate. However, when it comes to cheating.. while that is his personal life (god knows he isn't the first prez to cheat and won't be the last). Lets face it.. then its no longer a matter of "personal life" thats being questioned. I can't say someone is wrong for being gay, I can't say someone is wrong for masturbaiting in their own feces.. But, I can say without a doubt its wrong to cheat.I'll agree personal life shouldn't affect political. However, once you cheat its not something personal anymore.. you have brought in a third party. And lets face it.. the only way to keep a secret is to keep it to yourself. Can't do that if there is more then one person invovled from the get go.Now.. this is all just my opinion so I am not trying to say someone else is "wrong" here for disagreeing however, I honestly believe that if someone is going to do something where their moral character can be called into question.. then you can't complain when its brought up.I personally can't say I would opt for a president who is so detached that she doesn't care if her husband cheats on her.If she is gunna let her husband cheat on her then what else will she let slide?
-
i think he meant, they might decide to accept it and come out so to speak but i could be mistaken
-
I agree with you. I do think that personal lives can affect the life as a politician. Though as far as Hillary Clinton's situation I choose to look at it as she and Bill fixed their problems and are still together. I think that it takes strong people and a strong relationship to come out of something like that. Yes cheating is morally wrong of course but they fixed the problem and moved on. I think that's what makes someone a good person. Because everyone makes mistakes. To me alot of it depends on how you fix them.

Quote:Men don't decide to be gay. Don't nit pick.If I offended any homosexuals out there then I'm sorry but, I am not about to argue over nit picky bullshit at the moment.I am willing to bet you get the implied meaning and understanding of what I was trying to say without me having to explain that I'm not holding homosexuality against a candidate. edit again if I offended any homosexuals I really am sorry and I mean this with sincerety and no sarcasim what so ever.. and for all intents and purposes my arguement worked better using the word "choose". So.. If I honestly offended anyone I do apologize. However, I'm not going out on a limb tonight to explain whats implied either.
-
I am saying that either way whether its a choice or not I don't hold it against them. And as dantek said its their choice to accept it or not. I could also argue that alot of people simply never accept the fact that they are homosexual so they "choose" not to be.. even when they are and don't have a choice. And then you can argue back. And we can piss into a sea of piss all night long. Now. Please don't pick one point out of my topic to say "oh your wrong" over.I'm sure you can find people who can argue both sides all night long. I just don't give a damn.

Originally Posted By: NnyIf she is gunna let her husband cheat on her then what else will she let slide? I'm sorry but that sentence doesn't make much sense to me. I'm pretty sure that she didn't "let" her husband cheat on her. Bill had an affair, he lied to her and everyone else, and was later caught, just like any other cheating spouse.I admit I've never read her memoir, but I'm willing to bet she was furious with him. Who wouldn't be? But like any married woman, I'm sure she had to go through a lot to make the hard decision to either stay or leave her marriage. Whether you agreed with her staying or not shouldn't matter, it's her business. So, she's a bad candidate because she forgave him? Sorry, but I still have to disagree. Not all marriages/relationships end because of a cheating spouse. Sometimes, it can be saved. And that in itself, can be a good thing.ADDED: Almost forgot to say that if you believe personal lives is important, then go you. But for me, I'd rather not use that as a way to judge a candiate (unless it's something way more extreme).
-
i think cheating is very extreme, its bad enough just to think about and can be very damaging to ones thought process, which i think can have an effect on their career be it political or not, although that applies more on the time it happened so it all depends on if shes gotten passed it
