to not use drugs. That French lady that had the face transplant. I found out why she needed it. She took a bunch of pills passed out and when she woke up her Labrador had eaten her lips and nose off. And she was so high she didn't know it when she woke up until she tried to light her cigarette and couldn't hold it between her lips. And because I'm a sick-o I think it's funny.
-
Yet another reason
-
oh my ass, my best friend has a labrador, i used to have a labrador, and my dad has a labrador, i find it highly unlikely a lab or any other dog would just "eat someones lips and nose off" just laying there.
-
Well that's the story she giving. (CBS Evening News w/ Bob Schieffer.)And drug addicts aren't know to be good caregivers. You never know just how hungry the dog was. And it's probably not a pure bread Lab.
-
was she on meth? meth addicts have a tendancy to scratch their skin away and she could just be using the dog as a scapegoat.
-
Babe, I saw the picture of before. Something, or someone, ate it off. It was gone. Maybe I can find a pic.
And they only mentioned pills. -
yea, find the pic. if the dog was absolutely starved then i could imagine it

She tried commiting suicide thats why she took all those pills.. and her dog was trying to wake her up.
-
That is disturbing, i hope they didnt put the poor dog to sleep
-
OH MY F%^&ING G_D! That's even funnier. Wake up lady, wake up. Mmmm... That's kinda tasty. Thanks for the help Fido. (Yes I know I'm sick. You don't need to point it out.)
-
I wonder if she was high enough to get the dog high?
-
her dog was trying to wake her up.Apparently, chewing someone's face off is not the best way to arouse them from an overdose of sleeping pills. From today's New York Times:In reply to:Ms. Dinoire described how she awoke to discover her horrible disfigurement after her black Labrador chewed off the lower part of her face while she was unconscious from taking sleeping pills last May. Some media reports said it was a suicide attempt, though she was not specifically asked about that on Monday. "On May 27, after a very disturbing week and with lots of personal worries, I took drugs to forget," Ms. Dinoire said, adding that she passed out and fell against a piece of furniture."When I woke up, I tried to light a cigarette and didn't understand why it wouldn't stay between my lips," she said, her face slack and emotionless. "That's when I saw the pool of blood and the dog beside it."Ms. Dinoire said she went to look at herself in a mirror and "couldn't believe what I was seeing — it was too horrible."Her lips were gone, along with her chin and much of her nose, leaving her teeth and part of her lower jawbone exposed, her doctors said. She called her mother, who lived nearby, and an ambulance took her to the local hospital. The doctors there transferred her to the care of Dr. Bernard Devauchelle, a renowned maxillofacial surgeon at the university hospital in Amiens.I wonder why the color of the dog was a factor.

i cant imagine a lab doing htat unless it was in a bad environment or starved.
-
A Lab is a dog, and like all dogs, it has dog instincts, and will do nasty things if it has the wrong kinds of experiences, or if it's born with a screwed-up personality. Some Labs, like some dogs of all breeds, are very inbred.
Personally, I'm not big on purebred dogs (or cats, but they tend not to be as inbred).
-
every lab and lab mix i have ever known is always sweet and loving if they are in the rgiht envrionment. if she mistreated that dog, and it had to resort to that, then i cant feel sympathy for her.
-
I've met several labs with personality defects of varying degrees.
-
But did they try to eat your face off? That is just too much. I mean I've heard of pets eating their people after they died, but she was just a sleep. If that dog is still alive , she better make sure she cartes it at night. lol
-
But did they try to eat your face off?Only rarely. My cousin had a vicious cocker spaniel. Thankfully that thing died. Another dog she had bit people. She's trained every dog she's had to have a miserable personality. She once had a Golden Retriever, which was the only dog whose personality she couldn't wreck.
