I don't know what's up with my left wrist but about two weeks ago i woke up and it was hurting. It still is and seems to affect my thumb and hurts where the thumb meets the wrist. Sometimes when i turn my wrist it feels like my thumb and wrist are cracking and dislocating(?). Anyway it is bothering me but i came here just to see other opinions. I'm going to see a doctor in maybe a week or two.

What's up with my wrist?
-
Too much masturbation? Oh sorry that's me. lol Text much? Maybe it's tendonitis of the thumb?
-
Too much typing with your keyboard not in the right place?
-
Are you talking about that fat part of your hand that connects your wrist and thumb? because i have had that b4. Sometimes when you do an activity for too long or bend it the wrong way, or even pump it at the right point it will hurt like that. Ice it to decrease the inflammation, maybe take some ibuprofen. Keep an eye on it but i would lay off anything that makes it hurt, or at least dont do it as often. It should get better
-
could that be serious? perminent? by the way i'm a righty haha. Steve, that could be it...but i haven't changed the way i type on the keyboard.
-
but i haven't changed the way i type on the keyboardIt may have just caught up with you.

I had something similar think it was called carpel tunnel syndrome but my thumb felt tingly too. Was a result of too much typing and not enough chilling! If it carries on you best going see someone about it.
-
YES i have that right now! i played too much of a computer game and typed to much. i had to settle down

arrr hun make sure you chill. It's horrible isn't it like a constant ache. They made me do thumb exercises how embarressing was that!!

do you have a lump any where on your hand.if you do its called a ganglion, its like a cyst that fills up with a liquid and it can put pressure on your nerves and that can cause pain. you may not even feel the lump it can hide under the skin, you will need an ultrasound to find it.to get rid of a ganglion the doctor will numb your hand and stick a needle in to the "lump" and drain it.i know the pain you get, i have all the above.mine was fine till i started sanding my car,(pressure on hand and wrist) then the ganglion popped back up, a ganglion can flare up and settle down compared to what you are doing, ie, sanding , it goes up, resting, settle down.
