Hello. Yeah i was just wondering what the best way to remove an ingrown hair. I've noticed a few located at odd places... namely my neck on my addams apple and inner thigh. I think the one on my thigh is infected (didn't notice it earlier cause i'm blind without glasses...). Anywho i was just wondering what the best course of action would be even though it seems sorta obvious.

Rubbing with a wet pumice stone will often free the hair. Otherwise you can use a sterile needle. When they are infected plucking the hair out with tweezers gives the bacteria fewer hiding places and they heal faster.

I agree that a pumice stone will help but it can be a little rough on your face.......
Do you normally find the ingrown hairs and bumps later in the day or the next day, after you've shaved? If this happens to you a lot, I found that this worked best for me....
I found that if I use s razor has too many blades, shaves too close and I break out and get ingrown hairs Now, I just shave with a razor that has two blades. I also shave down, NOT shave up. I found that if I shave up, the same thing happens and I get bumps on my collar line where I button my shirt. I generally shave in the shower and use shower Gel. Try it...Hope this helps
