I'm getting my braces off in a month or so, over summer, and I want my teeth to look the best they can before next school year.. so i was wondering, do any of you know any good whitening toothpastes or products that work good? I ordered "supersmile".. has anyone ever heard of it? Please respond!

I just use crest whitening with scope in it. As long as you use a teeth whitening toothpaste and you brush after every meal, you'll have one of the whitest smiles.
-
yea just brush alot, or get ur teeth professionally whitened. theyll be so white u wont believe. but those whitening stuff u buy in the stores dont really work.
-
I've never noticed a difference from the whitening toothpastes. I too ordered a whitening package and it worked really well. At this moment I can't remember what the name of it was, but my dentist even recommended it. Stay away from a dentist, that can cost several hundreds of dollars.

yea but at least if u get ur teeth whitened at the dentist then ur garanteed a really white smile. its worth the money
-
the stuff that i used worked just as well if not better, you're getting ripped off at the dentist

i tried the crest night effects...sadly i didnt do it every day but my sis still saw a slight difference. i'ma try it again soon

I can see a difference in the whiteness of my teeth after using whitening tooth paste for a week. Eat 3 meals a day and brush after each one.

I've found that the Crest white-strips you can buy at the drugstore work quite well. As Amanda said, I'd stay away form the dentist. She's likely charge you some ridiculous price for something that isn't better than a drugstore product.
-
yea but at least at the dentist the whitening process is over in 2hrs. you dont have to worry about doing it urself everyday. it was soo worth the $200 for me.

It takes some discipline to stick to brushing after every meal. But I know a lot of people that are on the go all the time, so those are the kind of people that I'd say go to the dentist from whitening.

well $200 is pretty cheap for the dentist, there are plenty of good products out on the market that you only have to leave on for a few minutes
