I have a dagger, knife, and sword collection (yeah, it's an odd obsession, but hey, somebodys gotta do it lol) and my oldest brother bought me a United States Marine Sword replica latnight and gave it to me after I came home from work ^_^ Omg, it's so pretty! I love my knives lol My mum always says I'll make some lucky man a wonderful husband one of these days lol
-
Oooo, I got a new pretty!
-
I am still amazed at how alike we are, i collect weaponry too.I have a full claymore, two hand a halfs, excalibur, aragorns sword from LOTR, a long bow, a mace, a crossbow, and about half a dozen daggers and short swords.............havn't bought any since the wedding tho, i cut my cake with the claymore LOL
-
Okay yeah, I'm not dumb enough to show up to a gun fight with a knife lol Besides, I'm not huge on guns... they kind of scare me (don't get me wrong, I've shot my fair share of guns seeing as I live in redneck central, they're just not my style). My oldest brother and I are ten years apart (so he wasn't around much when I was little), so this is something we can connect with. I'm going to see if I can convince him to take fencing lessons with me... if I can find a place around my area that offers it.
-
sigh no its a sword
-
Well sis, you know how much I love anything to do with the Middle ages and Renaissance, and I'm looking for a couple of knives or actually any type of weaponry that has to do with that time period so I can wear it to the next Renaissance festivle I go to... yeah, yeah, I'm a Renaissance junkie, what can I say? I'm actually wanting to get this Fantasy Axe
-
you're really lucky sis, i would love to go to a ren fayre, we don't have em over here, the nearest thing would be a medieval re-enactment, which we have been to, in costume.........but nothing like what you have over there punisher: yes i know its both, but we were talking about swords and knives.
-
Oh I love them! You would absolutely have a blast at them! There is one comming up in March and the first of April that I plan to take a weekend off for ^^ It's so much fun to watch all the shows and see all the people dressed up... I love it! I wish you could attend one I actually want to dress up as a pirate Right now I'm searching for a costume and I'd love to be able to get one of these Pirate Cutlass Sword to carry, but it's quiet expensive... I guess I need to save my money ^^
-
LOL so do i.
-
Where did you get some of your weaponry?
-
I got a few items from an old bric-a-brac shop in aberdeen before it shut down, i got a few imported, like the katana for example, i got a few of the daggers, and the bow from Ebay
-
No your not.a Claymore is a mine, not a simple explosive but the most important part of why your wrong is tha the subject athand is swords and non mechanical weapons.a claymore is of scottish design. when the conversation that Angel was limiting herself to was of basic weapons and she says claymore, daggers, mace, blah blah blah and you then tell her she is wrong and that its an explosive, that make you WRONG its all about context.now that you know yor wrong and why, lets talk about the fact its a sword and you didnt know that .....and you call your self a D&D man!?I hope your using hte basic rule book and not the advanced players manuals.
-
I love weapons. I want to start a collection of old rifles and such. I will not have bullets but I love the old WWII rifles. Like the Thopson (well sub machine gun), MP44(machine gun), MG42(machine gun), the Russian rifle (forgot the name).Swords and stuff like that are cool too. I had been collecting knifes and stuff like that but I cut my hands 1 too many times. And keep me away from axes when I went camping I was tossing one up and down and cut myself down my belly.
-
the Russian one I would bet on the AK-47you can get a good fun gun cheaper if you go with the SKS 7.62mm but if you do that, buy the Russian made not the Chinese. The Chinese one you should be able to pick up for around 180 dollars the Russian one is going to be more but I have found them for under 300.None of what you listed is very accurate and thats what really counts when you have guns to USE. for long shots I would go with a 7mm STW for out to 4 or 500 yards I like the 7mm Remington mag and the 30.06.The STW is a heavy bastard but since it became a production cartridge instead of a wildcat, several manufacturers have been working on bringing the weight ratio down. Its a 8mm necked down to a 7mm.If its WWII you want then a 30.06 Springfield with the peep sights were the standard gun of choice for issue to American troops and are not too hard or expensive to find and own.As an interesting side note, Bonnie and Clyde were fond of the Browning BAR in a 30.06 chambering and then cut down to a more manageable size for heists and shoot outs.At one point in time they were trapped in a hotel room by a few dozen guards and shot their way out with the massive fire power they had from the BARs.
-
Yeah I love the BARs. Those are quite nice.

That all depends on the campaign now doesn't it?Trust me I played D&D for many a year in my youth. Then, I found girls when I was about 14. Girls don't go for boys who sit in basements eating popcorn rolling dice and painting lead and pewter figurines to represent the characters they have on pieces of paper.I was a D&D Geek before computers son, before a CPU was the DM back when it was left to the person playing and the one running the dungeon to decide what was what and what manuals were used and the rules and the limits.Like I said, then I found girls, it was a wonderful trade! An imagined world for a soft pretty good smelling girl to have and hold, I never had a regret about making the swap.
-
Depends on the girl..........Angel and Katie....Im looking for a catalog I have, I got a buddy who gave it to me its all knives and swordsf. I ca not remember the name of it but they sell online and the prices are danmed cheap!the knives are of various quality, you have to look at each one but the designer daggers and swords are pretty damned decent, keep in mind none of htem are folded, I woud hate to actually hit someone with one but for decoration and collection purposes they are better then most of fthe ones I see for sale.
-
Hope you find the catalogue hon, tho i have a feeling they will be over there in the US, and it will cost a fortune to get them over here........but i would love to know the details anyway chance, thanks hon hug
-
mmmmmmm, that is possible It really can not be that far, its in the damned house someplace, or my car When I do find it I shall post a link to it or pm the two of you with it.Actually I will probally jsut post it since there may well be others who want it.
-
by chance do you have a secret place, a 'special' place where you put precious things you want to keep...............and then never find them again.............I do................it could be in there LOL
-
That wasnt one of my special things :stuck\_out\_tongue\_winking\_eye:
the lube, massage oils, sex toys, whips, dips chains and whips are in that special place and no room for a magazine sized catalog.
If all else fails I shall get the latest from him when I see him sometime this week and fix his damned puter for him.
I do know its here \*looks around\* someplace.
If I had no kids I could find my stuff so much easier!
but hten you have children, you know how that goes......
