Some advice- thankyou

I dont really understand. Is your mom jealous because your dad and brother hang out or something? i guess i dont understand the situation. maybe she feels alone. Do you and your mom hang out alot? if not maybe you should. As far as your detentions. Well STOP doing whatever it is that you do to get these detentions, thats not to hard of a concept to understand. its like coming here askin what you should do cuz you keep gettin arrested.

Hey I've been through all that. My mum always stressed over everything and felt she had no life, my dad was always away doing his hobbies or work and I was getting in trouble at school alot and doing stupid things. It gets better. As you get older and have more independance and stear your own path then you'll find it all so much easier.I'm sure at your age you dont wanna hang out with your mum as such, especially if shes stressed and angry at you cos of school and stuff, but do talk to her. Remain on talking terms with her. IF her life sucks she may try and fix it (indeed I hope she does) and doing so may disrupt certain aspects of your life. By being on talking and close terms with her you can have as much input as possible. Not to be alarmist, your mum may do nothing, but mine did and it changed everything for me...for the better actualy, though it was a stressful process. To summarise, dont get hooked up on the present, the future is on its way. Nurture your relationship with your mum and encourage her to sort herself out, refferably without disrupting you to much, but really having a mum whose happy makes such a difference, I speak with experience. But put yourself first, you matter.

Hi, it is a delight to read some level headed advise from a young ma. At 28 im not exactly a pensioner however i despair as few people i met your age are as articulate and thoughtful as yourself. how do you enjoy Leeds, i was there as a student 10 years ago.
-
Why thankyou Oh Leeds is swell. Only been here six months and I am very much enjoying it. Alot bigger than what I'm used to though! What did you study?
-
I studied at the college of music for a year, currently at Newcastle university doing lots of wacky stuff. Have done lots of different things and jobs in between, im not an eternal student, though still studying at 28 is difficlut, no cash, or own home etc at an age when all my same age friends are getting their shit together. Still who knows where it will lead and i will finish what i started. I used to go out round queens court in Leeds though not been there for a few years now, oh yeah they had a weird clud done out in 70's barbarella style, i think it was called revolution, you get in behing the oxfam shop near the corn exchange, perhaps its not there anymore. see ya.
-
The music college near the Theatre? I know a girl who went there.Revolution and Queens Court are both still there, havnt been to either yet though.Haha this Oxfam shop they got here is the craziest charity shop I've ever come accross. Not least cos its the only one I've known to have a Goth and Punk section. Yesterday I walked past it and they have this (very attractive) young lady, dressed semi-goth, pretending to be a manekin!
