Hello guys i'm new at this website but I have a couple of questions to ask you guys i'm 14 just turned in January anyways my dick is 5.25 is that big or small for my age and also doesheight and shoe size have to do with it because i wear a size 12 1/2 shoe and i am almost 6 foot tall and yes i am caucasion !

My size

shoe size doesn't seem to have much relevance to dick size, and tho you have time to grow, you're not small.
-
At 14 the idea of an average means less the usual, because some 14 year olds are just starting puberty and others have practically finished. However for what it's worth, 5.25" is above average for 14.

I would think that certain features might have some relation to one's dick size, for instance, if u saw someone with quite large hands and feet, maybe really tall, then they quite possibly could have a large penis. However, because penis growth is considered kinda inactive for many years before puberty it most likely has nothing to do with the size of the feet etcTo counterpoint my theory, there are many really small guys, say 5feet or less with absolutely gigantic genetalia. So, my opinion with hand and foot size is: i reckon it has got some relation to penis size, but not alot! bull ya

i dont think size has anything to do with it. Im 14 years old, 5 foot 5, wears a size 12 shoe, and i have a 6 inch penis and 5 inch girth.

The size of fingers, feet and so on depends on the growth of the bones, whereas the penis doesn't have a bone in it (in humans). The hormonal control is different, even though there are some common aspects (such as growth spurt at puberty, caused by the rise in testosterone). There is a small correlation, but it's not strong.

yea thats what i was trying to get atI think it all depends on what happens in those vital years of puberty....But, think of someone huge, like shaquel o'neil haha, with his huge head, huge limbs, huge hands and feet, i would imagine he would have a huge penis just for an exampleBut everyone is different and an individualand remember, YOUR BEAUTIFUL!oh dear....

I know what you are saying, but there is no correlation. Remember, you are comparing the penis size to skeleton size. Since the penis has no bone in it, it has no connection in size to anything with bone in it. You need to compare it with other body parts that are organs are not driving the cardio-vascular system. Does Shaq have larger eyes than other people? Does he have a longer tongue? Probably not. Same goes for the penis.

hmm hmm i see i seeyou've deffinetely got me thereSo to add to this quetsion, do you know wat hormones are responsible for penis growth? Because i know ppl that have had to take GROWTH hornome inorder for their bones to grow like normal people, then at a certain age they were also given TESTOSTERONE for puberty and then the penis would grow etc. Then wat happened was once the wrist bones fused together it meant they had reached their potential 'bone age' and stopped taking growth hormone but of course continued to take testosterone. However, i was wondering, is it the testosterone that is making the penis grow bigger (it is) but is it this alone or would it also be the growth hormone?Another interseting factor is that when you take testosterone to induce puberty it makes hair grow, penis grow blah blah, but they cant yet produce a replacement hormone to make your balls enlarge to its 'should of been' natural size.............There are plenty of knowledgable people on here so im interested for ur views.....

Before puberty various growth hormones affect growth - I don't know much about the subject. The puberty growth spurts in bone growth and penis growth are both caused by the higher testosterone levels, but by different mechanisms. In the case of the penis (and prostate) the testosterone is converted to dihydrotestosterone which actually causes the growth. The prostate keeps growing throughout life, which is why old men often have trouble with its being too large. Both bones and penis, however, have a stop-growth mechanism. In the case of bones the testosterone that caused the puberty growth spurts also causes the bone growth plates to fuse and growth then becomes impossible. In the penis it seems there is an unknown hormone, believed to be produced from testosterone or dihydrotestosterone, that makes the cells no longer susceptible to the effect of dihydrotestosterone - though it seems to work with varying efficiency. It's a complex issue and there's a lot that isn't known.

Ineligible is right - its a combination of testosterone and growth hormones released by the pituitary gland that causes penis growth during puberty. While testosterone is necessary for this growth, it is not the only ingredient. Testosterone levels remain high after puberty and throughout a man's life (with a slight age related decline), and actually are higher as a fully grown man than during the peak penis growing time during puberty. Yet, despite the presence of high levels of testosterone after puberty, there is no additional penis growth, so clearly testosterone is not the only ingredient for penis growth during puberty.
