Hmm... that's a bit tough. The Hours was the first thing that came to mind, so I'll stick with that. I absolutely love that movie. The Iron Giant would come in a close second.

I'm currently obsessed with "Rent" and I just saw it on broadway on saturday too so now I'm gonna have to go out and buy the movie. haha. As far as all time favorite though Romeo + Juliet (the one with Leonardo Dicaprio) is definatley up there on the list.
-
Star wars is my all time favothers are the Back to the futurs and a few other 80's movies
-
drop dead fred! i used to love that movie! other than that, i like: eternal sunshine, ghost world, american beauty, wes anderson films, the edukaters, lost in translation, heathers and david lynch stuff even though they are wierd.
as for watching movies over and over, i think ive probably watched ghost world 10 times or so, maybe more, i used to be so obsessed with that film so much.
-
when it comes to lynch what do you prefer lost hiway or muholland drive? My personal is blue velvet then muholland
-
the thing is i've only just started getting into his stuff - ive only seen blue velvet and ive got mulhullond drive coming from amazon soon..but ive read a lot about him, he sounds cool..is lost highway any good? havnt heard that much about it..
-
I did not think it was as good as the other two we talked about but it was not movie I would pay money to add to my collection of DVDs. I wouldnt skip renting it but I wouldnt buy it either.
-
I thought Lost Highway was wierd. But I love the music to that movie.
-
Crash.. Most definetly.
Watching that movie was like an emotional ride for me.. I cried soooooooo much!
-
The Godfather!
-
I tried watching Rent the other day. Couldn't get past about 30 minutes. It just came off to me as a bunch of whiney-ass "artists" complaining cause they can't pay the rent. Get a job! And the one guy who has a job, they dislike.I know that's overly simplistic. But in my flu-ridden state, that's how it came off.As for David Lynch, Twin Peaks was just about as good as it gets.
-
My fave movie of all time: The Robert Redford version of "The Grea Fatsby". I know it'sa crap moviue bnut I lov it¬!!!Also up ther would be "Shawsank Redemptyion", "Citisen Kane", "Gofather II", "LOST BOIYS", "The truth about cats and dogs"" "The breakfast clb" and and "Ptretty in pink".I also love "Weird Sience" but olny for JKelly Le Brock who was ny number 1 favourite woman until Jesasica Alba came along in "Dark Angelk".Apologies for th4 awful spellings (if any) but I'm very drunk and my tuyping's gone all to pot
-
OMG, I found someone who knows what drop dead fred is! And you actually like it too. I dont think ive come across anybody who ever even heard of it. Most people think its like a horror movie or something.
-
It's a comedy with Rik Mayall and Phoebe Cates (wghi did that STUNNING lingerie appearance in "Lace").
-
I know what it is seen it and even liked it I just do not rate it as belonging among my favorites
-
No, I don't reate it as a favourite either although I liek Phoebe Cates
-
They eventually do start earning money and helping each other out. It does come across the way you described it in the beginning but as the movie gets going you see that there is more heart to it and its turns out to be more about love and friendship than poverty. And you can't help but love Angel he was a sweetheart.
-
I absolutely love Drop Dead Fred. The ending always makes me eyes water.(Damn, now I need to add that to Netflix)
-
yeh i used to watch it when i was younger, even though its probably not that appropriate, but yeh love it..really should get it on dvd -ive not watched it in ages
-
Drop Dead Fred is a great movieI think I need to rent that tonight lol
