My Surgery on Monday

I know it's a pretty late call but here is the email address of a very good doctor who helped me and also 'saved' alot of men keep their foreskins:)Getting cut because your foreskin's too tight is quite radical, have you heard of prepucioplasty? they make a wee cut in the skin which allows you to retract the foreskin and you get to keep your hood intact! He (Doctor Peter Ball)can be contacted on his websitehttp://www.norm-uk.org/circumcision_alternative_treatments.htmlhttp://www.norm-uk.org/phimosis_clinical_guidelines.htmlHere is a quote: 'NORM-UK estimates that at least 9 out of 10 patients undergoing circumcision in British hospitals do not need to be there 1 2. Conservative, non-surgical treatments for common foreskin problems are much easier, cheaper and far less likely to cause long-term harm to the patient 3. Unfortunately many doctors are unaware of these. Others are uninterested in preserving the patient's foreskin for religious, personal or even financial reasons'I think it's not too late to try to save it cause once you've got it sorted, the foreskin gives you great pleasure:)Hope that helpsNico

I got circumcised last summer and it's wasnt' bad as people think, Of course your worried because its your penis that's being operated on but its really minor surgery with very little pain. you should ask the surgeon what kind of cut he's doing so you wont be surprised. Good luck.

I also think you should give it a bit longer with regular stretching - two months isn't very long, and there are people on this forum who have kept at it for 6 months or even a year, and eventually been able to retract.
If you do go ahead with a full circumcision, don't worry about the pain - it's not that bad, and I speak from experience. If you havea local anaesthetic, it hurts a bit when you get the first injection, but it's bearable, and after that you won't feel anything during the op. When it's over you will be given painkillers to control the pain after the anaesthetic wears off. The only pain I felt afterwards was when I woke in the mornings with an erection.
I know just how you feel, as I got cut after unsuccessful stretching attempts, but over many years in my case. I also kept it secret from parents and work colleagues - I only told one friend (who was also cut due to phimosis).

Thats a great idea to contact Peter Ball. Rather than complete circumcision, a small relaxing incision may be all you will need for comfort and you will retain virtually all of the foreskin with its important nerve endings for your pleasure.

Seeing as how the OP was april 7 of this year and today is the 25th, Im betting its over and done.In fact I know it is, he made another post after it was over letting us know he was fine and asking about controling pain and how long a healing process hes looking at.Check the dates before you reply to things...
