I guess that's fun. IDK.. what was the question?
-
Oh yeah I forgot to type that in HAHAHAHI was going to ask if anyone shares the same fantasy of just driving, like on a road trip.
-
absolutely... I just envision myself in a slightly different vehicle
-
well do entertain us with what you would want to drive.

loud exaust sucks ass,
took me alot of money to lose the loud shit.
it sounded good but it wears on you
My SHO I robed the coise cone for more air intake and holowed my cats and welded em back in and put in turbo mufflers.
Before th turbos I ran glass packs, between the sucking sound coming from under my hood and the damned exaust it was unbearable, hit the freeway pump it up to 90 or 100 and all you coud hear is the exaust rumble and as youd slow down, you could drown out the sucking sound from my intake after I drilled out the intake and added a bigger MAF leave the exaust as quite as possible, trust me, i had to change alot of shit and alot of money to get my exaust bac to a tolerable level with out sacraficing speed and I can still hear my engine sucking air when I come off th free way or when I mash the pedal down at a stop light.
aside form that Iv made many many long trips, salt lake to st lois by way of the grand canyon and across texas, I high point so each summer there is a few monster trips to work out, salt lake to mt rainier was a btch, left after work, got there about 7 am and off we went, took turns driving all night so we each coul get a couple hours of sleep.
mt hood was done the same way as was mt gilbert and granite peak. it sounds great, but it does start to suck after about 12 hurs of driving. Its one of the reaasons I quit driving truck for a living, that and after my divorce was done, I no longer needed to spend every minute possible away from home working. -
yeah I run the glass pack muff. on my Jeep. I am debating if I want to go dual exhaust or just stick with one...it will most likely be one just for money sake. I cannot go 90-100 my car will death wobble and i will crash.

I've fantasized for some time about doing an extended road trip but haven't been able to. I guess now my chances are even slimmer (but that's a good thing).
I think reading On the Road made me want to go on the road. I actually considered driving to Nova Scotia a couple of years ago, but realized it would have been too rushed to enjoy.Open road...open windows...good music...good camera...scenic small towns...yeah, I'm definitely with you there.

In reply to: well do entertain us with what you would want to drive. I'm more of a sports car type. I'd be in something small that moves like lightning and sticks to the road like glue. 911 Turbo or something along those lines. (man, I miss my Impulse RS)
