Okay am I wrong to think that ADD drugs are supposed to make you want to work? I can feel an urge to concentrate but it sure as hell is not on school. I feel like working on my car and not my homework, but I do a damn good job working on my car now...

**I thought the medication was to help you focus and concentrate, so if all you wanna do is the jeep i guess thats what you are concentrating on LOL It'll be done in no time **

Yeah I know...lol

Maybe the meds aren't working right, it could take a few different ones before you find the right one. Also if you don't want to work in school, no amount of meds will make you. The meds help you concentrate, not make you smarter or do better in school or even want to do better in school.

Meds don't make you into a goody-two-shoes (where did that expression come from?). It's still up to you what you use the better concentration on.

According to www.yaelf.com ..."It comes from the title of a rather twee and moralistic nursery tale called The_History_of_Goody_Two-Shoes, which is thought to have been written by Oliver Goldsmith, and which was published in 1765 by John Newbery, one of the earliest London publishers of children's stories. Goody owned only one shoe. When she was given a pair of them, she was so pleased that she showed them to everybody, saying "Two shoes". The phrase now refers to a self-righteous, smugly virtuous person.>--"[1]"Goody" was a common nickname for married women, way back when; it was short for "Goodwife". The character's "real" name was Margery Meanwell (and she lived in Mouldwell).
