hi guys, i am a really fair guy....white as can be....i was wondering for techniques which can maybe speed up the process for tanning for me? Or maybe some products i can find at my local pharmacy to speed up my tanning process?

Hi....i was wondering how can i get tanned?
-
As I understand it, there are only two realistic alternatives - either a fake tan (which is the healthier option), or taking it slowly. Some people have almost no melanin, in which case tanning is impossible and a fake tan is the only way to do it.I believe there are drugs that can increase melanin production, but I couldn't recommend that way. Even if you could get hold of them, they are likely to have side-effects.

you could go to a tanning salon. but some of the people I work with go to those and their tans are awful and uneven and putredly dark, though I guess they think it looks good because they haven't stopped going yet...
why can't you wait to tan naturally? a tan doesn't make you any better than you already are. -
Just get rub on tan-in-a-bottle, it is healthier, no side effects and it gets you a nice bronze tan.

thanks for the advice guys....one more reason its because i have much or rather many comments that i'm really fair...and honestly speaking....i think i'm having a hard time picking up girls too because i'm just too fair....i heard swimming too is good? I kinda planning to play more basketball and swim more often....pls leave your comments about it thanks...i appreciate it....

I know that it's risky but if you feel THAT insecure about your skin, go to a tanning salon. Or you could try and use the non-risky route by putting this tanning lotion on or something.

Thats bulshit, I avoid the sun unless I have spf a zillion on, Im as white as they come and I never had any problem picking up girls, its been said a million times by millions of people, its about the confidence level you have when you talk to girls, they pick up on it, if you have none, they really are not interested.

ya i guess some people are jsut like that as for fake tans i think they always look like crap i had a friend awhile whos mom did the tanning bed thing and her skin looked like dark brown leather,as for me i go out for like half an hour and im tan

I think that the best way to resolve this problem is to use fake tan. I use Body Shop Moisturiser that slowly makes ur skin darker. It's a great product. Just don't go too dark, go for Light to Normal, not Normal to Dark.

I saw on Oprah that sun screen containing Paba causes you to tan faster and is more safe for your skin than other tanning lotions. I've tried it myself and it really does work! Also, I've found that Sea and Ski self tanner is excellent because it makes you brown instead of orange, and it lasts quite long too.

For me to tan, I put on some sunscreen or something, then I'll go and sit in a sunny spot in my backyard, just stretched out on a chair or something. I'll listen to some music, usually fall asleep for an hour or 2. Then I'll wake up, and go about my day. After a bit of this I have a nice tan.

ok, from 1 white person 2 another ( i have very fair skin, and wear a sunscreen under my make up evry day, even in winter) i really dont think u should b worried about it. i went through a thing of wanting 2 b brown like every1 else but i quite like being fair now. it sucks that i have 2 sunscreen up ALL THE TIME and that i burn so easly ( bad burns, like the worst sumburn i got was when my back was in big blisters after a day at the beach when i was younger)and ive been teases about it a couple of time by sum snotty bitches who i just told 2 fuck off, and u do get alot of ppl holding their arm up 2 urs to compare so they feel brown.. but its a point of difference and thats cool. i play it up with darker hair and red lips even. i really dont mind.as for trying 2 tan: plz, if u have 2, go 4 the fake stuff ( even tho i find most of it orange and awful) cuz if ur verry fair, sunbathing or useing a tanning booth will seriously damage ur skin, and if ur that pale, ur unlikely 2 b able 2 tan anyway. a tan is a sign of ur skin being damaged by the suns rays. its perminant damage that can caulse u 2 age earlyer than u usually would.

I absolutely CAN NOT STAND Jergen's tan in a can stuff... It rubs off with a towel, and gets everywhere!!!! Anyways, if you use normal, non-Jergen's tanner, and it blotches, use lemon juice to rub off the blotches, or to fade the lines.
