I am 17 and I'm a virgin, but I have a problem with these bumps on the shaft of my penis. These bumps showed up right when I hit puberty so at first I thought that they were just going to go away. They havent and I cant figure out what they are. I know their not herpes but im still not sure what they are. It seems that when I do my "business" that they seem to spread a little more around the shaft but go away. They are small white pimple like bumps that never hurt but they do occasionally have a little bit of white puss come out of them. I really need help trying to figure out what they are cuz my girl wants to do it bad but I dont want to do anything till I find out what they are and if they are contagious....thanks for the time and help
She keeps asking when
yeah sounds like you are okay.
The little white lumps you mention on the underside of the penis are almost certainly normal. Often seen in the teenage years, small pimple-like glands, about 1 or 2mm diameter, can be seen underneath the foreskin. Sometimes known as 'Fordyce's spots' they are completely normal and no treatment is required.
If the spots are seen in rows around the base of the head of the penis (also known as the glans), they are called 'coronal papillae' which are similar in appearance and again need no treatment. The best thing to do if you find these little white lumps is to not worry, don't pick or squeeze them and to maintain good hygiene by regular washing. Have a check up with your doctor just to be certain and always use a condom.
