Okay hello, this is my first post here and I'd just like to say that I think this website is an awesome idea, saved my ass many times. Anyhow, I was just wondering...I am a girl and I shave off everything around my vagina because I like it that way. lol. But I'm having a problem, I've been shaving for about 4 months now and even the moment after I shave down there ( I trim before shaving and use gel and shaving cream )there's still stubble. If I try to shave more off then how I have left it before waiting a few days, I start to bleed because the razor is getting too close to the skin. But I really don't like the stubble and I wish I could get rid of it. Is there anything I can do about it? Should I be using nair? Or a better razor? Would a better razor be a sharper or duller one? Sorry for the crapload of questions. I appreciate it a lot. Thank you.

Welcome to A2A, Pretending!A sharper razor is better than a duller one, and some of the more expensive ones shave closer. Nair is a bit dangerous to use near very sensitive areas. What about waxing?

but ya waxing,i would like to try that except i dont like the smooth as a babys bottom look on me (guy btw) just to childish

Hm I guess that does seem like a good idea. I guess I've always been too afraid of the pain but from what I've heard it's not as bad as what I think. Thank you. I'll have to give it a try.

Using a sharp razer and going against the grain usually does the trick for me. If its still not smooth after that, try tightening with your other hand so that the follicles stick out a bit more. Other than that, I don't know what else you can do unless you try waxing, but thats not for everyone, especially not me!

Waxing is just too expensive if you have it done, and doing it yourself is hard too. I use the 4 blade razor the quattro, and I do hold the tension with the other hand too. I shave up, I shave down, I shave sideways, etc...I have been shaving it all for almost a year now so it is mostly without redness and bumps now, although I find the redness and bumps are worse if I don't change the razor frequently...K

i like the shick intution for this - it shaves pretty close and has that conditioning solid around the blades..
as for the stubble problem.. i can't shave there more than once a week b/c i'll get ingrown hairs if i do - so i try to time it so that its right before i see my man and things are smooth for him :-)
