Well 2.5 days ago I was sitting at my computer and felt my left testicle itching. I scratched it a bit and eventually noticed a little bump on the skin over it. It is about the size of a pimple, but seems to be in the skin. It is near where the testicle meets my leg, and on the back in the skin behind/under and round the testicile, and not on the testicle itself. I can pretty much put my fingers around it and pull it away from my testicle etc... It is also slightly tender if I push it around or fool around with it. A few years ago I seem to remember having somethings similar on my right testicle where it meets my leg, but a little further up. It went away after a while. Is this something i should worry about? Or is it normal to have a small bump in the skin in this area, and not a swollen or lump on the testicle itself? Maybe an ingrown pimple or hair? I looked up symptoms of testicular cancer and it said swollen testicle, abdominal pains etc... , but if I didn't feel around and find this little bump, I wouldn't even know there was anything there. Thanks

Probably nothing...but.. (testicle bump)

go to the doctor!

Anyone else with a little bit of commentary?

Well, it's not a bump on your testicle, rather it's in teh skin. So that pretty much rules out any "testicular cancer". It's probably some cyst or plugged pore. If you are concerned, see your doctor.

Thanks sdp, As someone who has been a hypochondriac since my father had (and beat) Leukemia in 1998, I appreciate the quick reply.I figured it was probably nothing to worry about...but it is also nice to hear someone elses opinion on something it may be other than the "C" word. It seems everything on google is the worst case scenario, and that is what makes this site great. If it isn't gone in a week I'll go and see a doctor, until then I'll stop worrying myself over it.Cheers

I think it's most likely a sebaceous cyst. They can take a few weeks to go away, so don't worry if it's slow.

razz you seriously shouldn't be asking us guys even though we are glad to help yougo to your doc , lumps around your testicles and private area's are serioushope its nothing

I really wish you guys could/would differentiate between testicles and scrotum. The testicles are inside of the scrotum. When you say you have bumps on your testicles, I think you mean that the bumps are on the skin/scrotum. These bumps are sebaceous glands and hair follicles which all guys have and is completely normal. Please take a look at the Male Anatomy thread above.

The lump that I have is on my scrotum. It is inside of the skin, and I can easily pull the lump along with the skin quite far away from my testicle. It is near the back of my testicle, and when standing is on or near where the skin goes from the testicles to the "choda"/"taint" or whatever it is called. It sounds as if it is a secaceous cyst, and I am holding off on going to the doctor for a week or 2 to see what happens. I am in between one city and another town and my regular doctor isn't in this town. If the lump was on the testicle itself, or he testicle was swollen or whatever, then I would have already gone to the doctor.

Thanks for the Anatomy Lesson. Yes the bumbs are on my scrotum and yes there are several of them. They're painless. There is one that is larger and white. I haven't told anyone else. I wanted to get you guys opinion on it first.
