Slate mag: over 2/3 of guys who got cut prefer it
-
OK so??? What do you want from everyone here?
-
we saw that in the other thread where a discussion of it is currently going on, whats your point by making a new thread to discuss the same shit your arguing over in another thread?
and good christ, what do you get out of it? got a deal with the clinic where you get to keep all teh foreskins they cut off form circumcisions ? fry them bad boys up in hot grease and eat em like pork rhines ?Its stupid and pointless to keep saying hte same shit over and over and making new threads to tout your opinion, if your ideas cant stand up in thread its pointless to putthem in another one hoping to make your point.

Based on a sample of 84 men who'd been circumcised as adults for medical reasons, a 2005 article in Urologia Internationalis found a 61 percent satisfaction rate, Yeah, If I had a medical problem with my forskin that was casusing me problems, I'm sure sex would be better after getting cut. What's your point.
-
what says more I think, is that they all had a problem that led to surgery, and still 39% of them didnt agree that it was better after.I was cut at birth, I got no say so, my dick is fine, works great and Im rather fond of it. I also wont ever know if its better with the skin, I know its done for reasons of religion, and for cleanliness. you can wash and nagate the cleaning shit and the other reason is just for anyones ideals with god. it seems stupid to me in hindsite to cut off dick skin with out a medical reason to do so. But at the same time, if sex gets any better, it may jsut kill me, so maybe iM better off with out it. uhh the foreskin I mean, not the sex.
-
I posted it here because the foreskin forum is the appropriate place for this subject.
-
just trying to provide some balance to the constant negative portrayal of circumcision. I'm sorry if some guys resent that they were cut as babys but that doesn't mean its a bad thing. oppinions vary. Why are you who are anti-circ so hostile?
-
I'm not actually. If you have a problem one can't resolve or just want to do it, then go for it. I just don't agree with someone "promoting" it as something "you gotta do" becasue American society thinks it should be like that.
-
The point is that it is already posted in a current thread, this is a stupid pace to post it as its already under discussion in another thread, anyone who gives a shit fin one direction or another on this debate, has seen it in that other thread.f to post it ihere and start a new thread for it is a waste of time and bandwidth
-
no i dont miss my foreskin. it gave me problems both medically and socially and im glad its off my penis.
the reason i posted this link is because so many guys on a2a try and scare you if you need circumcision that it going to ruin your sexlife. which is a lie made by guys who feel bad about themselves. this article proves that most guys prefer being cut. -
I think you confuse the word "prefer" with "satisfied".And sorry to burst your bubble, no one feels "bad" about themselves or try to scare anyone. The recommendation is to try alternatives before cutting and not be pushed for "social" issues.
-
hey sdp, did you even read the article? the word prefer is right. the one who wrote this talked to alot of guys who could compare and this is what he came up with. its alot more realistic view than what you hear from people some on a2a who it seems are 'restorers' which if you ever had a real foreskin is a ridiculous idea.
-
how is it a ridiculous idea to want something, which was taken from you at birth in most cases, unnecessarily, back???? Even if its not a similar foreskin as it once was,if the persons happy with having it back then thats a good thing.
-
eh, I had mine taken from me at birth, I cant say I miss it, and my sex life is pretty god damned satisfiying if I do say so myself I jsut think its stupid and rediculous to post the same information in two places when the second place it was started as the topic, and not directing someone to it in a reply.I think if you have a medical need to have it removed, then stop fucking around and do so, but since its there if you can gfet around losing it, ya may jsut as well keep it.
-
OK.. I did read it AND I went back and reread it another time.. slowly, without skipping through. I'm sorry but, I didn't find the word prefer. If you want to argue something, you'll need to quote references instead of making your own conclusions.
-
I read it again too. It didnt say "prefer". it said they thought sex was better when circumcised than uncut. I made the jump that they would prefer better sex. sorry. but doesnt it mean the same thing?
-

Again... they said that they were "satisfied"... some said it was better, some said it didn't change (some said it was worse). I claim, that many guys who get circumcised as adults... have some personal issue with the forskin, be it medical or psychological. If they have a problem with it then heck yeah, they are going to be "satisfied" with the end result. And that's great for them!!!My problem with your thread, is that you insinuate that if I were to get circumcised today, I'd have a 2/3 chance of "preferring" it. Well I don't have any issues with being intact, so there is no way anyone can guarantee that I'll be happy with it. I think it's a misleading message you put out. But hey! If you have a problem with the forskin, try to fix it first. If it doesn't work or you don't like it, then cut it (if you want). That's the message we want to put out.
-
sorry SDP but everything possted here is not for you. the point is to give others information they may want.
-
That's fine dude, and the point is to give information and not misinformation.
