Getting rid of a bad scar
-
ther are creams that help scars fade(but not completely)
-
I think there is some skin treatments with lasers that help remove...I am not too sure though
-
u can use a cream or oil containing high concentrations of vitimn E. they work pretty well if u keep it up. yes, ther is laser scar revision but its very expensive
-
really? i thort that was an antiseptic?shows what i no. that stuff really smells tho, and is kinda sticky...up 2 u, u should probably ask at a phamacy, theyll know what stuff 2 use.

Aloe Vera is great for new cuts. I'm not sure it's going to do much on healed cuts and old scars.
-
my scars just disappear after 5 years maybe your will too, depends on depth.
-
well ive only really got one prominent scar left that was quite deep...and thats from about 2 years ago, but its certainly faded to a more silvery colour, it just takes time and yeh i guess moisturizing does help
-
I haven't used any of the creams to get rid of scars, but I have heard good reviews about them. My opinion is that you might as well give it a go
-
Is there a point using such creams some years after such a scar was created?
-
Seriously, buying your own aloe vera plant is one of the smartest investments you could ever make! I have 4 of them and they reallllllllly help with almost all skin problems!Apparently, using selftanner hides scars pretty well too. But I suppose you'd have to be willing to have a tan.
-
Mmm but I acquired my scar years ago, not sure I cna do much about it now.
-
I know im late with this, but what you should do is invest in an aloe vera plant (life savers) get some burt's bee's res-q ointment, and if a scar persists then get stretchmark lotion, it actually sort of reduces the scare mark.
-
For an old scar, i think either the tanning lotion, make-up or cosmetic surgury would be your best bets. But hey, why go through all the trouble? I'd just wear it with pride and use it as a reminder of where I've been and where I am now. But then again, easier said than done, especially since I'm not in your situation.

It shows all the time as its right jus below my neck so I'm entirely comfortable with it. Someone asked me about it today infact. I was aksing more out of curiousity.
