Talk to your science teacher, and talk to your math teacher. See if you cant go to them after school for help. As for your mother, tell her you are trying your hardest, and you are getting help. She will understand. Maybe even have her help you if shes good at math/science.

thanks i'll try to get help.

I think the earlier you can prepare her, the better. If you have time and can do it, it can help to let her know you aren't doing well, a bit before you tell her how badly. But the most important thing when it comes to the crunch, is not having excuses, but instead changes you are making to fix things. That will help, and it will also help both you and your mother feel better.

thanks.to my mom,i'm the perfect little kid who'ssooooooooo smart and can do no wrong.its gonna be really hard to tell her.

Told my mom this morning.I panicted and just handed her the papers to sighn.in reading and spelling we got progress reports no matter what your grade(i had A's in both )so i put them last to "cool her down" after she say th F's.she got so mad that i started to cry and she didn't care.now shes barely talking to me :frowning: (btw this all happened before school)

Well, try and talk to her, tell her youre going to go get help, but most importantly, keep your cool. she will be upset, that is kinda a given, but calmly explain the situation to her, tell her youre trying youre hardest, that whole thing, and everything will be fine

That must have been very stressful. I expect with time she'll get used to the idea that you don't exactly fit the image she constructed of you. That's an important lesson for any parent to learn.

Thanks everyone!Well we're finally talking like we used to now. so i'm a little better now.i couldn't get help today for a few reasons i won't get into now.i'll try tomorow

(again)Thanks to everyone!

Try asking for extra help at lunch/after school, and see if there are any extra credit assignments that you can hand in to boost your mark. As for your situation with the parents, before making them sign the sheet, just tell one or both that your really struggling with these classes. Tell them that have (or intend on) getting extra help. This way, when they sign the sheet, your marks won't be a surprise, and they'll know that you've set goals to improve so they won't be as worried. Maybe they can help you out too.
