Well it's nice some of the time to have a big family... but sometimes it can be a bit too much! You have no privacy and even though I'm 20 years old, I'm still not allowed to do my own thing without being followed by the family's watch dogs of the town... it's hard sometimes.

Ever dated a relative
-
Yeah, I've seen it....I swear I'm Toulla. I'm gonna be thirty before I'm ever married. ROFL!!And when I finally DO get married I can just see my parents and relatives freaking out over it. Ugh!
-
It kind of sucks sometimes to have a big family! I'll admit it, it's hard to deal with some days. I mean right now I have all my family members bombarding me with questions about a good male friend of mine.. "Are you two dating?" "Are you two sleeping together?" "What do the two of you do when you go out?" "Do you know what I heard from ***** about you and *****? They said you two were..." And so on and so on! I'm ready to pull my hair out! growlsHeaven forbid the guy who marries me one day meets my family before we get hitched! He'll be running for the hills once they meet my nutty parents and siblings! And then there will be the uncles and aunts and cousins... wow, I shoud seariously start thinking of becomming a nun soon! I can hardly wait.... grumbles
-
Well...I would hope whomever I'm with doesn't run off when meeting my family for the first time. But then again...I'm not sure I would subject them to that immediately. I'm enough to handle by myself. ha ha!The only person I'd worry about anyone meeting is my 85 year old great great uncle. He's not only cantankerous and obnoxious...he's down right vulgar sometimes. The first question he asked my sister's fiance was, "Are you having sex yet?" He's very set in his ways and does not believe in sex before marriage. Christopher knew this when he answered my uncle too saying, "Yes...several times a day if we can." OMG!!! Go christopher....(note sarcasm)
-
I have barely any older relatives.....NO grandparents, 1 uncle, 2 older sister, 1 brother in law, 2 younger brothers, 1 younger sister (have not seen little bros/sis b/c of dad), I am an uncle of a Amelia (she is so cute, 3 y/o now), and it looks like in a few months I will be an uncle to a little boy....But I do not have lots of relatives, I am a relative, but nothing special for me in that sense.
-
Thats quite a small family, how do you even have christmas and thanksgiving like that
-
For Thanksgiving we had 4 people this past one...My mom, my sister, my moms bf, and myself...My other sister and brother in law live in LA....I am going to indiana....we are not a tight knit family, my mom plays favorites, blah...
My dad has not seen/talked to me in years...so yeah, nice and divided, but oh well. I cope -
unlikely, but based on my dads dads history and that he came out of ohio, if your family came from ohio since the late 1800's early 1900s, its totaly possible.
-
oh my goodness are you kidding? my family is HUGE. no joke. They like to pop out babies and obviously the generation before me was infatuated with the idea of lots and lots of BOYS not girls. Oh no. Just boys. My entire family is mostly composed of boys. And my family is multiracial. Meaning I have family members who are white, black, asian, and latino so I have no idea who is who and what is what. My cousins are everywhere. And we had never met before.

In reply to:
They like to pop out babies

I suggest you go rent a movie, Monty Pythons meaning of life. Every sperm is sacred By the way, i suggst they sell all those kids for scientific experimentsanyone thats seen it, knows exactly what I mean, anyone who hasnt, can not have it explained and do it justice.
-
that movie is classic
-
the doesn't justify the 95/5 ratio of boys and girls in my family lol
-
Anything is possible but most of my family is from PA but I do have a nice amount fo family that's from Ohio as well. But back that far you're going pretty deep into my Native American heritage.
