My mouth came in contact with a penis (avoiding the head) for a quick second. I realized it was a bad idea and aborted the mission because I had no idea of the persons history. I called a hotline and they told me my action was low risk, since it was only for a short time and there were no sores on his penis. But they said there is a small chance I could get herpes, or other stds. Now I'm freaking out. I have an appointment with my doc on Wed. but I don't know if I can wait that long. I'm so scared now that I have an STD. Is what the hotline told me correct? I asked the person I came in contact with if he had herpes specifically and he said no and that he recently was tested for stds and he was clean. But again I don't really know him that well. All other sexual encouters I've had have been monogamous relationships and this was out of no where so this is really doing a number on my head.

Not Quite Oral sex - risks?

Umm do u have any symptoms? Are your lips burning, red, swollen, have any bumps on them? I doubt you caught anything, when u go to the doc they'll be able to let you know for sure.

Is it best if you have never sucked a dick to suck it with a condom on if you don't know the person?

If you want to be safer than yes you can give oral sex with a condom on. But I'd becareful and make sure the condom lubless (taste nasty) and has no spermicide. There are really good flavored condoms out there that actually taste pretty good!

Dont get freaked out, 99.9% chance that you have nothing. Just be carefull next time.
