Hi this is my first post! Im sure people post about this all the time as it seems to be quite common. Im almost 17, and ive had these since about the age of..14. Anyway it's really shattering my confidence and there is absolutely no way i could even think about having sex with a girl because it is so bad...This is exactly what i have..but i seriously have it a lot worse; http://www.phac-aspc.gc.ca/slm-maa/slides/normvar/images/hel007.jpgWhat are the methods for getting rid of it? Please don't anyone say just live with it cos ive been trying for years but it is really getting too much.I read somewhere about a carbon dioxide laser or something? Is there any other home remedies to treat it or anything?Sorry for the long post..but please help me regain some confidence..Thank You.

Fordyce's Spots...please please help

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you are going to have to live with it. I suppose it can be burned off but I don't know if that causes scarring. I have some too and to be honest with you, it's really not visible unless someone gets their face right up on your dick and stretches the skin out. I'm sure it's the same with you.

Are you sure the spots you have are not sebaceous glands? They can easily be confused with Fordyce spots. There's not much you can do about either anyway, and like the previous poster said, chances are a girl won't even notice. Most fully grown penises have bumps on the shaft, and girls won't know the difference between sebaceous glands and Fordyce spots. I have so many sebaceous gland bumps on the base of my penis shaft that I wouldn't be able to tell the difference either.

nah trust me its very very noticeable. They are all over the upper foreskin, particularly on the underside. If they are common in people going through puberty, does that mean that they will eventually begin to go away or become less noticeable?Has anyone had these treated at all?

They won't go away. Fordyce spots are a form of sebaceous glands, however they "usually" form on the inner forskin and look different from normal sebaceous glands on the shaft.
