I have heard of it. I don't know much about it but he is probably going to have serious issues with it as he gets older. I don't know what to say about it.

i do agree he goes to talk to a threapist it does help a little . thanks for the comment

I did a Google search. Hormone therapy seems to be one of the options and I did see sites that mentioned surgery when older. Is he on any hormone therapy?
-
hormone therapy sounds like a fantastic idea! insurance should cover it. be sure to get a really good doctor because it sounds like there may be more to it than it looks
-
he is on hormone therapy the specialist also suggested surgery when he's older im un-decied about that ?
-
I think a lot will depend on how he himself feels. Surgery is painful and it doesn't produce miracles, though it may produce something that looks more average in the locker room.
It's a tough thing for a guy to cope with. :frowning:

Good question. I did some reading on this topic on the Internet. There seems to be a lot of material on the internet about this. Have you reviewed any of it? Have you already taken your son to a doctor for an examination? I’ve read that the diagnosis is usually made by doctor after a physical examination. Your child may then be referred to several specialists including a pediatric urologist. (a physician who specializes in the disorders and care of the urinary tract and the male genital tract) and a pediatric endocrinologist (a physician who specializes in hormones). Please check out this link. It may answer some of your questions and good luck. http://www.healthsystem.virginia.edu/uvahealth/peds_urology/mcrpenis.cfm

Consult with your GP.He will refer you to Urologist if required. My guess is that Testosterone therapy may well be diagnosis.Either by way of injection or gel.

I guess we aren't reading through the threads... He said he is already on hormone therapy.

If he has micropenis, he won't ever have a sex life. Make sure he gets a good education, because there won't be anything else in his adult life to worry about.

I read an article a while back about a Russian man getting surgery to give hima 4-5 inch penis. It remained the same size all the time but he was able to achieve orgasm. I'm sorry this was quite a while ago so I can't rememebr the link. Hopefully techiques will improve over the next decade or so and there will be serious options for your kid.

It was not meant to be rude. I was merely giving a realistic opinion. Penis surgery is not available on the NHS (Or US Equivalent) so it would cost thousands of Dollars.

thanks
everyone for the comments we took him to a specialist who recommends a diffrent hormone treatment
instead of surgery both my husband ,son ,and i totally agree thanks -
Let us know how it goes. I'm sure there's plenty of people that have the condition but are afraid/embarrased to say anything.

Holy crap, my youngest has this. Well, the specialist said it was ok at first and not to worry, then she said maybe he should take testosterone. I talked to his primary doc and she said she didn't think it was a good idea because it would make him aggressive and he really wasn't that small. I did not realize that it could cause problems later in life. Wow, glad I read this thread.

will look into that , seems there is more cases of it
