Hey guys. I'm not trying to freak or gross anyone out, but i'm 16 and i am uncircumsized. I recently a while ago (about a year) just found out what smegma was and how i should clean it. I thought i was doing an ok job, but was always wondering why the tip of my penis was connected to my foreskin. After checking some things out online, I've heard people have said its better to bear the pain, and... well.... go ahead and disconnect the foreskin from the penis. I've never tried actually pulling the foreskin back that far and i was wondering what i should do and if it's normal. (Because i've heard that guys sometimes havent felt it, and other stories where guys are in horrendus pain for weeks and dont know what to do... Please help me in what i should do?

Foreskin detachment help

I don't know where you read that, but it is WRONG. You're talking about purposely tearing your frenulum. Don't do it! The frenulum is LOADED with nerve endings, and not only will it hurt like a mofo (and bleed quite a bit), but you will also lose sensitivity and pleasure from the frenulum if you tear it.
The frenulum can be stretched without tearing it, allowing your foreskin to retract more easily. Read the stretching exercises on this forum for how to do it.

Please take a look at the pictures in teh Male Anatomy thread above.

that's GREAT to know. i'm glad i came and asked here before doing anything. But, another question.... say you have continued for a couple of months streching the foreskin and it can now show the entire head of the penis, do i have to continue stretching my entire life? or can you stop after you can show the head of your penis? (in other words, is there a chance that it will go back to how it was?)

With normal retraction through masturbation, cleaning and sex, it should remain the same and should be looser with time.
