please help me. im seriously freakin out. for the last week i have had tiny, tiny flat white spots on my upper lip only, like the size of a pin needle tip. some are clustered together, some are in a staight line. its only on my upper lip, maybe 30-40 tiny ones. however, the last day they have grown in the corner on my mouth, like a big cluster. you can only see them if you get right in my face. Is it an std, if so which one? i havent had sex in over 3 years. i had unprotected sex with only one guy, who was supposedly clean.furthermore, i have clumps of flesh colored bumps below (ima girl)on the skin below the clit but above the urethera. is it the same std? its also been over a week since i have seen them.i see a doc on thursday, but i am going crazy waiting. i like its eith herpes, warts, hpv, thrush or something. i cant tell what it is. too much std info.

Tiny flat white spots on upper lip

Clumps of flesh-coloured bumps does sound like genital warts, but if they have gone for a week, that doesn't sound like warts (which stay and stay and stay). It doesn't sound like an STD if you haven't had sex for 3 years. (AIDS can wait a long time to show up, but doesn't normally present like this.) I don't know what this is at all.

i meant i first noticed them over a week ago, the same time i saw the spots on my lips. both are still there ans have been there for over a week, but under 2 weeks. could this be warts on my upper lip and vagina? ive been searching for info on the spots on my upper lip for hours, but cant seem to find a definite answer. it might be sebecbous glands (not sure how to spell) or hpv or herpes or warts or something. im just really worried about it. too worried.

If it were warts, how would you have got them?I'm afraid you'll have to wait until you've seen the doctor - there's not much point speculating.

i dont know. i thought stds can show up right away or take years to show symptoms. like i wrote above, its been over 3 years since i had any sexaul contact including kissing. thats why im freaked out about whats on my lips. since i havent kissed someone is 3 years, what is this on my upper lip? worse, it seems to be spreading to the corner, like its gonna form one big white spot. i tried counting how many spots and id say theres over 50 total. im more worried about my lip because that is seen by everyone, everyday. i cant cover it up.thanks for you help

They might be Fordyce spots. Fordyce spots can occur in several areas where there is soft mucosal skin. Usually they can occur on the foreskin of males, labia of females, nipples and lips. They are harmless but understandably annoying cosmetically.http://dermatlas.med.jhmi.edu/derm/result.cfm?Diagnosis=1041715055http://tray.dermatology.uiowa.edu/DIB/Fordyce-01.htm

yes, all of mine are under the skin. The ones on my upper lip are white, but at the corners of my mouth they are flesh-colored with white centers. some are so tiny and are shaped like a line, while others are circular and grouped together and look like a whitehead. also, my lip feels wierd sometimes like a numb or tingling sensation.my general practicioner was postive that i have genital warts down there, but didnt know what was on my lip. he is sending me to a gyno to confirm my genital warts and to see if i have oral warts too.im also going crazy. mine are spreading!! i think i have oral warts on my lip and would rather die than live with warts on my lip. its socially embrassing. i'll see the gyno in 2-3 weeks so i'll post what he tells me.go see a doctor and post what he/she diagonses you with. aks if its oral hpv (warts). maybe we have the same thing.ive been to other boards and they post that oral warts (hpv) is rare and usually found in aids/hiv + people. well, rare means it does occur, just not often. hopefully, they go away--soon!

Here is a sight that describes what the white spots are.

I have the same type of spots on my lips. I also have similar spots on my penis, and now I am starting to get some weird spots right under my eyes. I was checked for STDs and all the tests were negative. I showed the doc the spots on my penis and she said they were normal. BUt they were never there before. Help!!

Go see a doctor again. The thing is when you get an STD test you are not tested for ALL stds, just some. Ask your doctor what STDs he is testing for and ask to be tested for all, if he isnt already. For instance, HPV is the virus that causes genital warts. Men and women arent tested for it; rather, it is diagnosed visually (that is after an outbreak has occured). Thus, there are stories of people being ttold their spots are normal when later they found out it was warts. also, people have been mistreated for warts. Some strains of HPV cause cell changes in women, which is usually diagnosed when they have a pap exam, but men do not get paps. However, HPV can lay dormat for years and so if a woman has it, it wont always produce an abnormal pap or warts. You could have genital warts or it could be froydce spots or something else. It is probably best if you go see a doctor. That way you will know for sure what the spots are and can get treated, if you need it.
