The big snip
-
My manthing has the snip a couple of years ago now, I had had 3 kids, and been on the pill since i was 16.......i needed to come off it and the option was, he would wear a condom everytime, OR, get the snip, he ventured for the snip, it was a routine thing, in for 20 mins, drove himself there and back from the hospital, as i was at the hilton for the weekend at the time LOL
-
I had it done….it happens in a lot. That is why most men get it done. Their wives have asked them to do it so they can’t father any more kids. Our infamous member Chance would be the best person to ask this question. Although I don't understand why most women would rather have their men get snipped then have their tubes tied... It doesn’t seem fair.

**Because they have already (usually) been through carrying and baring a child, and all the crap that goes with it, and having the snip is done quickly and relativly pain free, whereas, a female sterilisation can be a much longer precedure, and a long recovery time........and why the hell shouldn't men have to so something once in a while! **

I would rather wear a condom everytime than get snipped. I don't have a problem with sensation wearing a condom - I mean its not as good as without one, but it's no big deal to me. There's just something about the whole vasectomy thing that just creeps me out, and I don't like the fact that all the sperm your testicles produce just get stuck there and die and get broken down and reabsorbed by your body. I mean I know its been done for years without too much compilcation, but it still just doesn't seem healthy to me. Not to mention, you never know when you want to have the option to have kids again - that's why you see so many ads for vasectomy reversals around. That new male contraceptive pill sounds interesting though.

I was there when they cried for 15 hours straight because they were teething….or just because they couldn't sleep… Whatever it was, I was there for them...I've been barfed on, pissed on, shit on, spit-up on, sneezed on, and coughed on. Hell, I’ve even been kicked in the nut, and hit in the nut with their baseball and the fricking bat. I’ve been bitten by them, kicked by them; I have had hug black and blue bruises from them. Heck I’ve even stood there and listened to the scream at the top of their lungs about how much they hate me because I won’t let them go hang out with their other friends at 9:30pm at night. I believe that have caught just about every sickness known to mankind from them.Just because the woman carried the child for 9 month….isn’t a really good reason for me to rush out and have my nuts snipped … just doesn’t seem fair.

spoken like a true man......... hey fare enough, but why should the woman have to do it, just because you have been an active father? there are reasons for both sides, but generally it seems women are sterilised more then men, cos they think its takes some of their masculinity away or some rubbish like that.

LOL...I love ya!This is for a whole another thread.Good point though...

jumps on rick for a kiss thank god that argument is done with LOL
-
well i dont have to worry about it for like a long time. but i dont know if could ask my guy to do it. But i definitly dont want my tubes tied either so i dont know.
-
That actualy is how I stumbled on this site was when I had mine back in october. My fiance didnt ask me to however, I told her I was going to do it and she was more then happy about it.It was easy, really wasnt too bad healing up and now I have care free sex with my fiance, it really makes the sex better when your not worring about pregnacy and pulling out or wearing a rubber or if the pill is working or the shot or the what ever. Now i just pump her up witha creamy filling and never worry about it at all.as a bonus with my insurance it cost me 20 bucks plus gas to drive there and gas to drive back 3 other times to jerk off in a jar to have it verified sperm free over the next couple months.
-
I think after i had a couple of kids i would get it done because i get the same feeling with or without a condom but still love when i don't have to use one when ever she's on birth control because honestly who doesn't want to cum inside of thier girlfriend wife friend or whatever
-
Yep definately, it's by far the easier option. Condoms are a pain in the arse (finally don't have to worry about them every time now!), the pill requires she must do something EVERY day and is again a pain in the arse if she misses one, females getting their tubes tied is pretty horrible I hear and the DEPO shot isn't a permanent solution and has more side effects.
I'm secure enough about my manhood to get it done. My stepdad has, my girlfriend's dad has. But unfortunately MY dad never got it done. 3 years and another bastard (the true meaning of the word, I love my little sister) child later, I wonder if he will clue onto the idea?
-
It is really no big deal. In and out of the office in about an hour counting time to fill out all the insurance forms. My wife drove me on a Friday and watched the entire thing. Wore sweat pants and loose underwear so I would not be restricted. Went home and put an ice bag on it for a few hours until the swelling went down and back to normal activity on Monday. No sports for a couple days until it healed. My mother-in-law wanted to know about it. She wanted a peek at the incision. I was not about to show her my nuts. My wife drew her a picture. We still laugh about that one. Glad my wife gave me an impressive dick in the picture. LOL
-
Those are all good reasons And I agree with you. Also (from what I was told from my sister who had her husband get it done) there are possible complication that can come down the road from getting your tubes tied than a simple procedure like a vasectomy.I am glad I am gay and will never have to worry about that LoL.

ya ya lucky buttmunch, but yeah if someone had managed to convince me to have kids i would
-
If it came down to that I would do that I mean I have no issues, if I have my kids and a steady relationship with my wife, I would gladly do it.
