You can put it directly on your skin or on a washcloth...it doesn't matter.

What's aucutine? Does you need a prescription?

I'm not surprised. Often specialists will push out openings for new patients leaving space for regular patients and referrals.

Acutane is a strong (used to be the strongest) acne medication, so yes it needs a prescription. It's uaully the last resort when it comes to treatment because of the strength and the side effects it can carry.
Like I said for me personally, Acutane was a godsend. It was the only thing that actually worked against my acne.

Isotretinoin, marketed under the names Accutane or Roaccutane, is a treatment for acne that reduces the amount of sebum produced by the sebaceous glands. It's very effective, but it does mean your skin and lips (and glans) will be drier, and more sensitive to sun. Very seriously, it causes birth defects, so women who are on it must take double precautions not to get pregnant (and some contraceptive pills are less effective when you are on it). It can cause depression in a few people. It's therefore a treatment that is only used when otther treatments aren't enough, and it's available on prescription only.
