Hi. I have read other posts about discharge on here but none really relate to my problem.I am 21 and have discharge every single day between periods. It has always been this way. I need to wear a panty liner pretty much all the time. It has always been heavy, and i have been able to feel it coming out in a sort of "gush" about 3-5 times a day.It isn't itchy or smelly - sometimes i notice a very slight vinegar smell but i have read online that is normal and due to acidity levels.Sometimes (more recently) it has been quite thin and clear / slightly milky in consistency and some times it is a bit thicker, but there is no kind or correlation between what time of the month it is.I am on BC pills and have been for 5 years now.I read online that a woman should have 1 tea spoon of discharge a day but i have more than this!I have had tests before, one resulted in slight thrush years ago but i got that sorted. Otherwise nothing.Does anyone think its normal to have discharge every single day to this extent, so long as there's no itch or smell or strange colour? It tends to happen more through the day as im walking around...it's almost as if it "falls out" when i stand up and walk a bit (i sit down in my job most of the day)I never really get any at night. My doctor just told me to wear looser trousers. Don't think so!

Your doctor's advice is a good one. Tight pants make for less ventilation down there. Also, make sure you dry real well before putting on the ritz. Use a talcum powder for extra absorbtion. Thrush is a yeast infection and you are suseptible to getting it again. This is normal, by the way. Don't stress over having discharge, but you do have to sacrifice the "sexy pants."

Yes, it's normal. I have been told over and over by a zillion gynocologists that it's normal. Just go ahead and wear pantiliners and call it good. They make some really super-thin liners now so you hardly notice 'em.Any anyway, you should appreciate it because when women get older they get drier, not enough natural lube and then their genital mucous-membranes get more taught and sex isn't as easy. So, be grateful for your "moisture" now when you still have it. It's just nature's way.
