Hey, my mom says she has had ADD when she was younger or something, but she was never checked for it, however she's a nurse so that does give it some credibility. I generally feel and act a lot more stupid and slower then other students. Strangely this started decreasing a bit in the past month. But it's still pretty bad. I can't conencrate during class, I can not concentrate on homework, I can not remember !#@%. Lately I was thinking about asking my mom about this, but I wanted to ask you first. Have you taken ADD drugs/medicine? How do they make you feel? Are they bad in the long run? Does the effect vary? Depend on something? Please share your thoughts and feelings.

ADD Drugs, How are they?

I am not saying that you do not have ADD, but your mom turned out fine it seems. Every kid has ADD it seems or at least thats what they claim. Too many people are snorting ritilin and other dangerous drugs just because they think they need it. There are times in life where you may feel more forgetfull than others and pills wont help that. They may help concentration but not memory. If you fidgit all the time or crawl all over the floor in class, then see a doctor. All in all you will grow out of it anyways without being hooked on uppers.
