I've tried the Neutrogena Body Scrub. I have a prescribed acne treatment. None of them our working. A dermatologist isn't open for like 3 months.

Have you checked around with other dermatologist offices to see if they can get you in any sooner?I know how frustrating acne can be; I had such horrible acne when I was a teenager. Main thing is to keep your skin clean as possible. And there is an old rule to follow when it comes to facial skin, “If the skins dry, wet (moisturize) it. If the skin is wet (oily) dry it.” Find yourself a good non-oil based moisturizer for the days you have really dry skin and find a mild toner for the face when the skin is too oily. Acne is really just an imbalance of oils on the skin and you just need to do your best to get and keep your skin balanced. I have a ritual I do everyday, I wash my face with an acne wash, use a mild toner and finish with a light non-oil based moisturizer.Perhaps not a solution but it might help until you can get in to see your dermatologist.

The acne prescription I am (tretinion) doesn't allow me to use other facial products.

Is this a lotion or a cream? I remember something I was on that was a topic facial cream that I had to keep in the refrigerator, same thing?
