I have a hypotrophic scar (abnormal red, raised and itchy scar) that's about half a centimeter wide and a couple of milimeters high. It's about 4 months old. I was just wondering if anyone else has a similar scar and what should be done to reduce/remove it?

I think those are called keloids. There are patches and cremes sold at the store/pharmacy that supposedly, shrink the size and discoloration. It's a bit pricy though. My son has a raised scar on his back and i was looking into it. I haven't bought it yet, but I heard it works.

Keloids are bad versions of them, and are a more serious nuisance (sometimes they keep growing).
