Sorry, I'm partisan, but Syracuse beat 3 of the top 4 Big 12 teams in the tournament on its way to the NCAA championship in 2003, and then beat Kansas. Didn't they also beat some Big 12 teams in regular season games that year?Roy Williams went on to great success after that with UNC. And Syracuse went down the drain after Carmelo Anthony left. It's a while before the college hoops season starts again...looking forward to it. (Meanwhile Miami is 2-2 with Dallas in the NBA....life is good.)Anyway, I'd love to see a Bobby Knight team play. A friend of mine was going to Indiana while he was coaching there, but I never was at any of their games.

New here so....
-
He is 21.
-
I remember that year...I'm not too sure though.
I know Syracuse beat the hell outta my beloved Red Raiders this year in the Coaches V. Cancer Classic at Madison Square Garden.
But yeah, I've met Coach before and hes a pretty cool guy...completely different off the court, obviously, but I got to play a couple of holes of golf with him one day and he was really cool. I'm glad I get to be ath the school where he'll break the record!!!
-
It's great to watch teams with great coaches (Boeheim, Knight, Williams, etc.) play each other.> got to play a couple of holes of golf with himYou've beat my best celebrity story.
-
Yeah it beat my best at the time too.
-
Welcome... Welcome... Welcome fellow texan. II'm Roc, I'm one of the Moderators on the board, I'm a Big Ol' Teddy Bear and I too, live in Texas.....Play nice with the other kids here and we'll get along just fine....
-
ACK! It's the attack of the Texans!!! Run for your lives!
-
I've been to Texas. It's big. Florida is long, but Texas is big. And it even has a panhandle.
-
It's also hot... hot... hot... and oh yeah, did I forget to tell ya its hot? lol
-
That's why it has a panhandle.
-
We even have a state faire once a year... how awsome is that?
-
That's hotttt. The county has a fair, but I don't think Florida has a state fair.
Edit: Can you believe I had to fix a post that contains 16 words?
-
That's what I thought! Oh yeah, we also have some of the worlds biggest rednecks... gah, they're everywhere!!!
-
We have rednecks too, but they're mainly in the, ummm, panhandle, where Britney Spears and Kevin Federline live.
-
Trust me even NH has rednecks...
-
I've also been to Texas, Austin actually.Right now, It's remarkably hot in Ontario... and Ontario is bigger than Florida and Texas combined.
-
Like the guy and his son who run one of the junkyards in Hudson (this was a while ago... "Can't read nor write" "Never been out of New Hampshire" He was very proud of the fact that he'd never left the state. I've met a bunch of people from way up north, but they weren't rednecks. I did meet a state senator (from Wolfesboro, or somewhere around there) who was not only a redneck, but a racist (we'd gone to see then-U.S. senator Warren Rudman speak).I was in Long Island, NY last month, and there are definitely rednecks there.
-
I was thinking Franklin or Allenstown, those areas. And my uncle (by marriage not blood)even though he's from Louisiana. He's even in-breed, according to what my father told me.
-
I've been to Waxahachie, and on a ranch somewhere between Waxahachie and Waco.
-
I had a neigbor here whose family owns (or owned) a furniture store in Franklin. They weren't rednecks, but their neighbors may have been. You just might find some rednecks in Dixville Notch, though.
