Smelly feet

My sons both have this problem, I'd like to know how to combat it too, seems a bit harsh to lock them outside with their shoes LOL

Often it's a teenage thing.. My feet went through a period where it was horrible. The type of shoes you wear can also make it worse, like if it is really constricting and causes your foot to sweat alot.

Some people just tend to have bad foot odor. Could be that your feet sweat more than most or numerous other things. My brother is 7 and you can sometimes smell his feet from a few feet away when he takes his socks off after he's been wearing shoes all day. I rarely get smelly feet though, they're usually not bad.
If it really bothers you then you might want to see a doctor to see if they have a solution, although I'm sure it bugs you more than anyone else you're around. -
I used to have this problem. I think it's the species of bacteria that have colonised your feet. Most deodorants don't kill bacteria. You can get some foot powders that do, or you could try any ordinary antiseptic that's safe for skin. The bacteria will also be living in your shoes, so treating them as well may help.To prevent the problem coming back, as far as possible wear well-ventilated footwear rather than conventional shoes. I wear trainers/joggers instead of shoes. Take off your shoes as soon as you come home. I am usually barefoot at home.
