Recently i have been having a pain in my bollocks.. the pain just comes and goes when it likes.. its more like an aching pain but when i touch them it hurts. When they hurt my 1 bolock is swelled up and i have noticed there is a small lump behind the 1 and that is where the pain is from. but after an hour or 2 the pain will go away, so will the swelling and i no longer can feel the lump. But its the actual tiny lump that hurts with 1 the 1 ball aching. What could this be? i want to know. It has hurt a few months ago once or twice but the last week or 2 it was been more constant. i am going to see the doctor on thursday but i just wanted some opinions in the meantime. Could this just be a syst and when it fills with fluid it hurts. or something else?my dad said it could be a hernia from me pickin up my heavy weights. but i aint got a clue. any opinions welcome. fanx from Anton

Should i be worried or not?

Could also be a variocele. it is somewhat common and is basically a condition where the valves in the veins running from the testicles don't work very well. The veins can become swollen and the whole area aches. Does it feel like you have swollen veins in the scrotum that can be best described as feeling like worms?

Variocele? never heard of it lol. Is it easily treated?
U say the veins dont work very well.. would this affect me gettin hard eaily? because ive also noticed that when i am hard it doesnt seem to want to stay hard for long and it peeing me off cos im not able to have sex cos he wont stay awake lol.
Yes ive just felt it again and it feels like a tiny lump thats long like a worm underneath the 1 testi.
Is that wot u mean? wb plz. -
Well no, it has nothing to do with your erections. There is a mass located behind the testicle. It's called the Epidydimus(sp?). That is normal, however it might be inflammed or infected.. Who knows. The Variocele would be felt along the entire cord that runs from the testicles into the abdomen, so that probably isn't it. You would be able to feel that. Your best bet is to have the doc check it out.

Well, you're seeing the doctor on Thursday, and rightly so. It's not really something that people here can diagnose. Why get over-worried in the meantime?
