Well i was reading the new's today and heard something real bad for us. Bush's younger brother is gonna run for president next term.Oh joy . . .
-
Just our luck . . .
-
He won't win anyway.
-
so is it now a contest to see what one of them can fuck up the country the most? The republicans know that Chaney cant carry an election, too many heart attacks and shooting people do that to you.even if Jeb runs, it doesnt mean he will get the nomination from the party. People are stupid enough in this country to go republican again and I no longer doubt that they are stupid enough to put another bush into the white house.I wish like father like son held true and that piece of shit bush had only a single term.

I didn't even know he had a brother
-
George W. has two brothers: Jeb, who was an integral part of screwing up the presidential election in 2000 (and again to the best of his ability in 2004) as governor, of Florida; and Neil, who was on the board of directors of Silverado Savings and Loan in Colorado, which we bntankrupt in the 80's due to gross mismanagement (after that, Neil was legally barred from ever again serving as a bank director).Jeb wanted Terry Schiavo to live forever, no matter what. Neil cost a lot of people, including retirees, their life savings, while serving his cronies and himself. What kind of cursed people could produce a litter like that? A former CIA director who claim that atheists can't be patriotic Americans, and a Marie Antionette who said how wonderful it was for the New Orleans evacuees to have the great fortune to be staying in the Superdome, since they normally live like wild dogs. What a stupid thing to say. What a family. Our enemies should be so blessed.

suddenly reminded of the plot to assasinate Hitler by his own generals because he was totally mad. It was foiled by th British secret service because they realised that a mad man at the reignes of the Nazis was actually a blessing
-
I doubt he'll win regardless if he gets the republican nomination or not. I just cannot see American voting in another Bush.
-
I haven't read anything about his running...just denials. The speculation has been going on for years. I'd think he'd have a lot of negatives, given his close association with the current president.
-
I'd think he'd have a lot of negatives, given his close association with the current president. Agreed.I've here the speculations for awhile as well. Last thing I want to think about is getting an idiot out of office only to swear in the idiots brother.. talk about Cringe.
-
thing is that the voting public anywhere tens to have a short memory. After 1 or 2 Democrat terms, people will be thinking about change again and if Jeb is the candidate, the sheep will vote for him.
-
In reply to: I just cannot see American voting in another Bush Bush...29% and dropping but that still means 29% of the population is a moron
-
I can't speak for the rest of the country, but in Florida (every year) and Ohio ('04), the Republicans waged a fairly successful campaign of suppressing voter turnout among certain groups, including registration barriers, shortages of functional voting machines in certain areas, etc. Even though fair elections (and American elections would not pass muster if international observers were here), the electorate is still pretty evenly divided. The U.S. is a weird kind of democracy. A lot of the rural poor vote Republican, and the participation of poor people in elections is low. There is no "inherent" right for a citizen to vote in the U.S. When you vote for president, you're actually voting for someone who you assume will vote for the person you support, although they're not obligated to do so. Having electors gives the less-populated stated outsize influence. There are no uniform regulations for how elections should be conducted; it's up to the individual states. I'm afraid the Europeans have passed us by in terms of fair elections.

good point... I think to so many people "democracy" = "sense of entitlement" and that's the bottom line
-
I vote for porn!!
-
also, no that long ago, 70% of the doctors in Afganistan were women.
-
You can't change Afghan culture, if they treat their women that way, then its their way.
-
No, but we are not from there so i dont think we should meddle in another countries affairs.
-
are my posts visible? It's not the traditional Afgan culture... it was the Taliban culture
-
Too bad the world doesn't listen!
