If you accidentally bite on your cheeks they get sore and swell, which makes it more likely that you'll do it again, which is very annoying.
Irritation over a long period of time can make cancer more likely, but the occasional bite would hardly be enough to make any difference.

Understand that cancer can occur on anybody at anytime. Being paranoid won't help either. Seems that anything can cause cancer now. Bitting on the cheeks will not directly cause cancer but if you smoke, you are letting nicotine penetrate your cheeks and gums. This in turn to bitting too hard to draw blood open your body to rapid cell growth to repair the wound. No one knows yet how to make cancer happen at will. Cancer is in simple form is a cell that went wrong and spreads itself as a mutated cell, once it enters your blood stream it can be very difficult to get rid of. Don't think about it as you can possibly worry so much that it makes you sick. Again when you run down your own body with worry, it gets week and more suseptable to cancer than when healthy.
