I am now 21, Chinese, and I know Chinese do not have as much body hair as white people. But I found that I do not have much hair above my mouth and chin. I shave once in a week and I don't have much to shave actually, there is only little short hair coming out (no distinct hair grown on my chin). And I found that I do not have much pubic hair and armpit hair too. I just wonder if I will have more hair when I turn 25 or later. To my understanding, I think I have less armpit hair, pubic hair and mustache compared to Chinese. I just wonder why and I want to know if the hair at those area will grow as I grow older (but I think I have finished puberty).

HI thereDont strees to much about your facial hair man. All people have differnt freatures and I guess you were give the "light hair" look. I am not sure about how it relates to the cultural thing but maybe chiness men are less hairy in general. You may still be developing hair in the differnt parts of your body. Some hair contiune to gorw way after u think u have finished puberty. As for shaving - dont stress man. It can be a pain having to stand in front of a mirror every day to make yourslef look presentable for work etc. Every one is made differentaly so dont worry to much about your lack of hair.

I've only ever talked to one Chinese guy. He's 21 and didn't even start shaving until 20 yrs-old. But than again, he said didn't even start puberty until around 16.

Different people have different genes, and some have more hairy genes than others. East Asian people tend to be less hairy than Caucasians, but inside any group there are differences as well. If you look at your older male relatives it may give you a better idea of whether you will get hairier later. This is certainly possible - guys often get hairier through their 20s.I think it's a blessing not to have to shave much. It's a chore. And many people trim or shave their pubic hair and would be glad to have less.
