i was just wondering this : why is that if somone eats corn, and chews it up, it comes out whole?!?!?! i DO NOT understand this at all. LMAO its so funny..my boyfriend knows someone who had to prove this to his girlfriend, and when she looked at it she thought he poured a can of corn in the toilet!!!! :D it might sound gross and sorry if it does..im just really curious on why this happens :S

Ok i just have to ask this ...
-
The shell of the kernel of corn is very very hard for our system to digest, thus it will pass through the system whole. If the kernels are indeed whole in the stool, then he really didn't do a good job of chewing.

lol i dunno...i just find it amusing

which doesn't break down very well in the gutI think it's completely indigestible, like plastic.

When you chew on a corn kernel, your teeth squeeze out the insides, but the outer shell remains more or less intact - perhaps split, but still in one piece. Because it's springy, it reforms its original shape, so it looks whole, though if you investigated more closely you'd find the contents were different.

I have, and you are indeed correct.
