Hi there everyone, this is my first post and I hope you guys can help me.
When I was younger my dad always told me that I should practice retracting my foreskin but I could never get it all the way back. My dad brought me to a GP about it and he sent me to some specialist (I was 12 so I don't remember what title he had or anything) in the nearby hospital. He pointed out that my frenulum was short, but since the foreskin didn't cover the meatus that I shouldn't have any problems. Ha!
I first had sex last year and during it all the friction caused my foreskin to retract further than it ever did before, but when it reached a point it started to hurt. It made my first time quite painful altho I tried to ignore it. I only had sex once last year because I broke up with my girlfriend shortly after that, but I'm back with her now and we are active again. And again, I'm having the same trouble.
By myself I can only sometimes retract my foreskin to just behind the head, but not while I'm fully hard. During sex it all seems to lubricate a lot more and it retracts fully over a short period of time, but as it gets pushed back it hurts again. Its quite annoying and is really interrupting my sex life.
I am interested in getting a Frenuloplasty performed. I am fully against a circumcision just because its my preference, but I have no problem with having a minor surgical operation to fix this. My question is, who exactly should I go see about this? Should my local GP know about this condition and the treatment I want, or is there any kind of specialist that deals with these kind of situations? I'm 18 so I have no problem with going to see someone privately.
Thanks very much for any help you can provide.
