Well, I rarely go around and socialize. I'm an introverted person, but I really jump at the chance to go do things. Today I went out and had a lot of fun with people, and when I got home I thought how it was going to be a long time until I get to do something like that again. I started feeling bad, then I went into an angst fest. I notice something that keeps happening. Whenever I feel happy, I'll start feeling bad shortly after, really bad. What is it this?

What is it?...

Hey there!I'm not sure anyone who reads your thread will have enough information to give you an answer, but I'll ask a question:How happy are you with yourself?I hope you'll pardon me if I don't get back to this thread, tonight, should you respond...I get up very early for work and I'm already pushing the limits. However, should you answer with honesty, you can be sure I'll respond tomorrow afternoon, if not sooner!

you could be bipolarhttp://www.bipolar.com/what_is_bipolar_disorder.html

True bipolar disorder has a much longer cycle time than what the OP described, and involve swinging between deep depression and extreme elation. In cyclothemia, moods cycle much more rapidly. But it doesn't sound like the OP is suffering from free-running mood cycles. It sounds more like his bad feelings were triggered by an event.

Yes, it seems to be a sort of rebound anxiety.
