my best friend and i are a lot alike, looks, personality, and health problems! just recently i was hanging out with her and i passed out for the third time in 3 years yet i always was dizzy when i got up, or stood for a long time and usually black out but not completely loose consciousness. also i had been having muscle smasms in my eye and on my little toe. i thought it was so cool but i never knew that it was a symptom of hypoglycemia. also extreme fatigue is another symptom which i have. so when i passed out in front of her (not knowing that i was) she told me that since shes hypoglycemic that happens to her all the time and that she thought i was ans turned out to be right.hypoglycemia means low blood sugar which means that when you eat lots of sugar your insulin in your blood freaks out and breaks it down so you wont become diabetic. so if you dont take care of yourself you probably will become diabetic. you should eat high 'good' carb food, dont skip meals, stay away from sugar as much as possible, take vitamin c regularly along with fiber and magnesium

Is this your friends diagnosis or a doctors? If you haven't seen a doctor , you probably should.

Eat carbohydrated snacks every so often, like crisps, it works for my friend.

Im diabetic..have been for 10 years...and a lot of people say theyre "hypoglycemic"..but in all reality..its common for peoples blood sugar to drop..and they claim they are..but truthfully, if you havent seen a doctor, you deff. need to..because if you ignore it, it could lead into something bad..if you get to feeling shaky, eat carbs..ie: candy, crackers, coke..stuff like that..
