Hi, I am working on getting a daily workout routine to help me get fit + lose weight and get more healthy. I would really appreciate it if some of you people would help me get a routine set up. At my house I have a weight lifting set. The bench press board, with the fly's I think you call em. It also has the two leg excersize things like your sitting in a chair and lift your legs forward till their straight and where your laying on your stomach + pull your legs back. So, I want to get my body into shape. Im sick and tired of all this excess fat. I eat healthy, but I just dont get very much excersize. So im not gaining weight anymore thankfully. Can you please help me get a weight lifting routine set up to get in shape? =D

An excellent book (one of the very best on fitness I have read) is "Hold It! You're Excercising Wrong" by Edward J. Jackowski, Simon & Schuster. He pretty much covers the entire subject of various forms of exercise and then gives a program on how to get fit using your bodyweight plus a very few items of equipment such as a light bar and a jump rope. I highly recommend it.Check on amazon - maybe you can pick up a used copy cheap. For a good website with lots of weightlifting routines try www.bodybuilding.com - search for a beginners program. Study and learn the basic exercises and formulate a routine utilizing the equipment available to you - keep it simple and keep at it. Break yourself in gradually. Beginners have a tendency to want it all now and end up discouraged.Hope this helps!
