for almost a year I've been pooping out blood...I don't know what to make of it because sometimes its painful and sometimes I don't feel anything at all. I've told my mom about this but she doesn't seem to care right now...I know I should see a dr...but I just don't know.

Is it bright red? If so, it's probably a hemmorhoid, although it could be a fissure or some kind of lesion. If you've been crapping out blood for a year, you definitely need to see the doctor. Your mom needs to realize that it's not normal to leak blood from back there.

Whenever this happens the natural response is to say that it's a hemorrhoid or an anal fissure, the only way to find out if it is one of those is to go to the doctor and have him/her examine you. It takes a couple of minutes and is absolutely nothing to worry about. Another thing to consider (that nobody ever seems to consider - even doctors) is that it could be a rectal prolapse. This is when the rectum turns itself inside out and during bowel movements can protrude from the anus occasionally causing pain, itching and sometimes blood/other fluid. It's not serious at all but it's hard for a doctor to spot as it only presents itself during bowel movements.
