I'm not really sure how to classify this. It's a boil I guess. Basically sometimes people will get them from their skin rubbing together uncomfortably too often which causes sweating. I'm not really concerned with how I got it though. It's on my testicles and it's painful to even walk so I haven't done much today.I'm sure others have experienced similar discomfort. Is there any tips in how to get rid of them? I know it'll go away eventually, but that could be a week or so from now. It's red and a little puss-y. It stings when I touch it.Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What's the best way to get rid of ....
-
Ok, I've known a couple of guys who get that... they used to use powder around there after they showered to stop it getting too moist, and if it did rub or cause spots/boils, they used sudocrem to help heal quicker.....Try wearing boxer briefs or briefs to hold your bits in and stop them rubbing so much

Sedocrem, eh? That's not prescription, is it?
-
noo its over the counter. It's antiseptic healing cream, usually used for nappy rash but it works for everything apparently lol

In the U.S., I guess you would use A & D ointment. Following that with a fungicide powder, like Tinactin, would not only dry you, but also take care of any fungus that was trying to make a home in the moist area.

Yeah. I'm in the US. That explains why the pharmacist had never heard of Sedocrem. I guess I could look into the other stuff though.

I've always found that Gold Bond body powder is a god-send when it comes to alleviating chaffing. Whenever I go backpacking I make sure that someone in the group has a small bottle packed.
