Hello,I have just realised I have tiny little dimples on the head of my penis, i little like someone has made a tiny incision with a knife a few times, its just a few tiny marks. Is this normal or should i be worried? I can descibe it like its a few tiny bits like someone has sewn something together. Thanks,

Dimples in penis head

Aren't dimples supposed to be cute?

That sounds like cracks rather than dimples. They do develop with age, especially in the circumcised.

All circumcised penises have crevaces or cracks in the head. This is from the skin of the glans (head) being dry from being exposed to the air all the time, resulting in a toughening and thickening of the skin, called keratanization. You may notice that if you get very erect, the cracks almost disappear when the head gets larger during an erection. If you get really hard, the glans appears almost smooth again. Most uncut guys have smooth glans due to being protected and kept moist by the foreskin, although guys with short foreskins may have some cracking in the glans too, especially near the tip where there may be a lot of air exposure. It doesn't have to do with age - just how much the glans is exposed to the air and not kept moist. Completely normal though either way.
