is that when there is only 1 X chromosome lacking another X or Y. That if is I am correct. Besides not being a defined sex, the person is generally sterile and resembles a woman, i think.

Er, the person is a woman, stu. I'd hate to think we wouldn't use the terms "man" or "woman" for anyone just because they were sterile. The way sex selection works in the embryo, you become male if you have a Y chromosome, and female otherwise, so Turner's syndrome women are female.

I got confused bc i thought u needed xx to be considered a women and xy to be a male. How bout klienfelters (sp) then bc thats xxy.

People with Klinefelter's Syndrome (XXY) have a Y chromosome, so they are male. Their testes tend to be small, but the penis is usually normal. They usually have too low a sperm count to father children normally, though there are exceptions.
