I got home, took my shoes off and got a wet fright. Turns out my mum got professional carpet cleaners in today. It's pretty cold at the moment and my feet have subsequently frozen. Anyone have an idea how long it will take to dry? It's very cold at the moment, maybe 5 degrees celcius (it's meant to be spring!!!).

How long does nylon carpet take to dry?
-
As someone who one time cleaned carpets professionally for a living, I can tell you that a carpet should be nearly dry with in 3 to 4 hours.
Nylon or anything else. Its all in the extraction process.
If its not dry in that time, mildew starts setting in and it has to be recleaned and reextracted.
if its not dry with in about 4 hours after they call it good and leave, Id call them and bitch and make them come redo and re extract it and treat for mildew with an antiseptic and odor control, but thats because I did it and knwo what iM talking about and iM sort of an asshole  -
Cool thanks! I don't know how long it was done. I've been home about an hour and a half. I think it's getting better.
