I have been wondering about something and I want to see a urologist about it but I haven't. If I go to a urologist, I don't know why, but I could never go to a male urologist, unless my condition was severe. I just want to see a urologist to ask a few personal questions about when I get an erection my penis is very very hard and stands almost straight up. I've seen that you can have a surgery done where they cut the connective tissue which might relax the erection so it points downward more and may "soften" the erection a little. In porn movies I always see guys with hard dicks that are still malleable. Mine is like a rock and it hurts like crazy if it goes past perpendicular to my body. So that is what I want to see someone about - are there female urologists that will see me??

Are there female urologists??

Try to enjoy it while you can. As you age, it will get softer and will tend to sag a little. Don't do something (surgically) that you'll regret later. Just curious, though. Why do you want a female urologist?

Hey bud, that is totally common and certainly no need to see a doc about. Its true that as you age it'll not be quite that hard. As to female urologists, I suspect that there are some. I'm just curious as to why you'd want a female....seems to me you'd be more comfortable discussing this with another guy. But its your choice....one thing...you'll have some explaining to do with your parents about wanting such an appointment (unless you can do it on your own) and also most urologists will require a referral from your personal doc. And then he/she will have to know the problem. But again, this sounds pretty normal, although the pain isn't something that makes things pleasureable. Good luck

Well to be honest, I'm 25. I've been very athletic my whole life and subsequently have a small frame from exceeding my body's desire to excersize. I'm 5'9" and 155lbs but have thin bones, but very dense, strong muscle. The reason I mention this is because I firmly believe that has to do with how I developed down south. I have a 6.5 inch dick that is a little under average in girth but like I said, gets rock solid. It's as if my body wanted to be bigger but I didn't give it enough nutrients when I was young and developing to achieve the end result. That's why I've always thought that cutting that suspensory tissue might just be a way of allowing my body to achieve what it was trying to achieve in the first place. I don't know I've never talked about this before so I hope these boards really are private!!!

Oh ya, and the part on seeing a female urologist...I really am so incredibly uncomfortable with the idea of a man inspecting my penis I can't even describe it. I'm not homophobic at all but I could still never see a man about my sexual organ. I wouldn't want to see a female from a sexual standpoint, it's just that if I knew there were something like that I would not hesitate to have a professional give me some advice.

Hey bud, to each his own. I'd much prefer my male doc. If things are that tight it may be worth a discussion anyway. Let us know how things turn out with this.

By the way, one of the things that us guys don't do as regularly as we should is to have checkups on all the systems. I hope this is something you do occasionally, at 25 its just a good thing to have done. The best birthday present I gave myself at age 40 was an annual physical. Yep, its a bit uncomfortable to have the equipment handled, do the cough thing and have the prostate checked (YUK) but had I not been committed to that I wouldn't have found Diabetes Type 2 two years ago. That one diagnosis (without a medical crisis) probably saved my life. I'm health as I've ever been, in the gym 2 - 3 times a week, walk/jog daily and I'm off all medications for over 1 1/2 years. So treat yourself well and make sure you're getting all those checkups....yep...even the ones you really dont' look forward to.

As always, excellent advice Lance.

I think that's a great idea...but then, my question would be are there female doctors that could perform the physical instead of a male?
-
Sure, any doctor should be able to provide you with a physical exam.

You can definately have a regular physical done by a woman. I've had a woman give me a physical before and she checked out the plumbing just like the male docs I had before.
