Hey.
Alright i live in a huge city and all for my entire life, never really been into much either... big city woo-hoo.
Recently i went way up north where theres pretty much nothing, some family of mine own lots of land up there, all woods and rivers etc. When i went up there it just felt so right for me. Felt good for the soul. Sense i came back nothing just seems to compare and im always thinking about up there. Ive put some serious thought about moving up there, but i would have to leave my job, leave my family down here get a new job up there which theres not much, its not necisarly a middle class area like im use to down here. Im still pretty young (21) so i do have time to make some mistakes, but how do i know what a good deciscion such as this is untill after making it? can anyone share anything with me etc? Thanks.

Welcome to AfraidToAsk, paradox20.
Be careful that it's not just the grass looking greener on the other side of the fence. When you get there there are sure to be things about the city that you miss - the question is whether it will be worth it. You may find that going north regularly for vacations is enough.

What country is this btw?I think this could be an exciting new start for you. I think most of us eventualy need to change the scenery from what we've grown up in. Ineligable is right that you need to be careful about whether this really is a good idea. Go stay up there again and really evaluate how thing would be for you there, try imagine the kind of life you could leed up there, think good and bad aspects. Speak to your family there about what life is like for them. If it all seems good thens earch for a job there. Hey it doesnt have to be the last move of your life. If in two years time you decide you want to be in a big city again, then so what? Theres nothing wrong with moving about if you can handle change. As long as you can find work and your financially secure then you can take these kinds of risks.
