Beard/Sideburns

I started growing hair first on my upper lip probably with regularity when I was 13 (I had grown it before but 13 was when I really needed to start shaving) and I was even an early bloomer. My facial hair developed slowly over time. I'm 19 and I still don't think I will ever be able to grow a FULL beard. It grows fast, but I'm one of those guys that just have those little spots where it doesn't grow. I'd probably look like Keanu Reeves w/ a beard. (Which, if you haven't seen him with a full one, it doesn't look very good IMO) The thing that pisses me off about my facial hair is that on my upper lip it's very dark and thick. Unless I get a 100% perfectly close shave (which is a pain to do every morning), it's still stubbly and grows back pretty quickly. And it absolutely DESTROYS my girlfriend's upper lip, lol. I feel bad.

I think I started shaving regularly at 18.

I'm 18 and I have very little facial hair. It's been increasing over the past few years, from a couple little stubs of hair to a little more widespread, but it's still very thin, primarily only on the left and right side of my chin, and slow growing. You'll just have to wait and see because in most people facial hair takes longer to come in. Some people get full facial hair in high school, but the majority don't get that much until later.
